- I loved the people mostly. Everyone here is so kind, be it friends or teachers or seniors.
- The fests and fresher's party that was held both department wise and hostel wise.
- The places to hang out in the campus are great.
Dislikes
- There is no cafeteria in the lecture hall complex.
- There are a lot of stray dogs in the campus that have bitten people.
- The clubs are highly dominated by seniors and freshers are sometimes not given importance.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my interest in the computer science stream. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:6. The faculty is so very well-qualified and generous. The exams were held a bit early to cover up the semester and were a little difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
I am a first-year student and I aspire to go abroad for higher studies and then explore my interests in the corporate world, whether I want to opt for a 9-5 job or teach in a university or maybe build an idea and eventually do my own startup.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the course is Rs 2,38,000. I haven't got any scholarship as of now. I did avail of financial assistance due to the poor financial conditions of my family. Although the college does offer some scholarships on the basis of JEE ranks and CGPA the college.
Campus Life
This is the best season in college. So, we're having TRYST(tech fest) and RENDEZVOUS(annual fest) in March 2023. The library is full of amazing books and journals on whatever topics you want. The classrooms have AC and good reading and sitting facilities. The sports complex and ground are so well established and maintained regularly for us. Numerous clubs like the Litclub, Dance Society, Enactus, Indradhanu, Ankahi(The Drama Society), the Music Club, and PFC(photography club are run by the students themselves.
Admission
I got admitted into IIT Delhi through an entrance exam called the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE), which is conducted annually by NTA, details of which can be found on the official websites of NTA and JOSAA. I also availed of reservation benefits via my OBC category rank. I got selected for Computer Science and Technology Dual Degree(Btech + Mtech) course at IIT Delhi which is for five years. Anyone who has got a rank above the cutoff rank is eligible for this course.
