Placement Opportunities

I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in business activities as my family background is the same. Here, the Faculty-student ratio is 1:30.Every faculty here is awesome and cooperative but there are a few professors who don't take classes, instead, they send PhD scholars to take a class in 1st semester. Almost, Every faculty members are highly qualified and competent. Exams are usually on time and for BBA to pass the semester exam is a game of 2 or 3 nights.

Almost, 35 companies visited here for placement of various courses. Famous ones are TCS, Wipro, ICICI, HDFC, Kapgemini, Vedanta, etc. Students also get paid internships. 2,3 students got placed as assistant managers in ICICI.

The Placement of most of the professional courses is really good in terms of ROI. As being a central University, the fee Structure here is very low. In my department, Most of the students of M.COM get placed (100%) for an average of 7.5 LPA in the year 2022. Some famous companies which visited for placement are TCS, ICICI, HDFC, KPMG, Wipro, etc. The highest placement in the year 2022 was 14 LPA. In BBA and Bcom, most of the students opt for higher studies. I will opt for MBA.

The fee Structure of BBA is 13,300 p.a. And the fee is the same for almost the last 5 years. This is a 3-year course. Most of the students here get the benefit of NSP. Also, There is the Teachers association and Alumni Association which distributes scholarships to the bonafide students from time to time. University also provides scholarships to students who have secured the top 3 positions in their sem exams. Also, there is an active University Placement Cell which gives the opportunity to the students to get an internship and placement.

There is almost no big fest, but there are a few departmental fests which take place from time to time. But the Sports facilities are really world-class as there is a dedicated block for sports, and there is a separate ground for cricket with all facilities. There are many grounds for football, basketball, hockey, etc. There is a sports complex for almost all indoor games. In the library, There are almost 6 lacs books and journals. Self Study culture here is really good. Most of the classroom here is of old style but with all basic facilities. Admission to every regular course here is completely based on the entrance exam. Usually, the application process starts from the last week of Feb.Cut-off for the general category for BBA is around 60 out of 100. Here, the General category means every Non-Muslim student and doesn't include SC, ST, or OBC from a Non-Muslim background. But, the Atmosphere here is completely secular. You can apply for admission from the website,i.e, www.jmi.ac.in. For this year(2023), Only a few courses are from cuet but there is a very high chance that in most of the courses, they will consider the score of cuet.
