Course Curriculum Overview

Because I was interested in this. Student-faculty ratio is 70:1 Teachers are highly qualified. Two of my professors are IITians. We get an academic calendar at the beginning of the semester and every detail about exams and various academic events is given there.

Internships Opportunities

We don't know exactly as we are new here. But as mentioned by our seniors we do get great internship opportunities here. All seniors in my hostel are placed. You can contact the TnP cell for further information.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students can sit for placement. Over 200 companies visit campus. The highest package is 1.4 cr. And avg package is 17 lakhs. Around 95 Percent of students get placed and rest apply for higher education or startups.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although it's a lot at the same time when we compare it with other colleges it's kind of okk.2.19 lakhs fees is required for 1 year. Scholarships are there for supporting students from ews category and SC st students.

Campus Life

Moksha is the annual cultural fest held in Match. Resonance is a tech fest. There is a central library with over 40,000 books including Every subject and genre. We have a sports complex with a well-equipped basketball court, badminton court, TT room Volleyball court, cricket ground, kabaddi ground, and tracks. NSUTX app is there for being updated on attendance, apps for getting pg, and the Devcomm site is there.

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for ac room. We are provided with ac, fan, table, chair, bed and a cupboard. Hostel meals are good from expectations. Hostel facilities can be availed by applying from the IMS portal provided by the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Eligibility was 75 percent in 12 boards with PCM. Applied through the JAC board and the fee was 1500. Application dates can be checked from the JAC Delhi website. There is 85 percent seat reservation for Delhi candidates. For further information, JAC Delhi releases brochures every year so it's better to be updated there. Document verification and physical reporting should be done together

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students
Due to construction dust is flowing around

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Canteens are the best in this college and food is hygienic
College infrastructure is good and maintained
Connectivity to this college is good just beside the college gate metro is there

Dislikes

Small campus size around 7 acres and large crowd
Library is really small ,there is not much space in library
Strict rules and regulations like you can't play untill 4 pm in the college ground

Placement Experience:

From the end of third semester students are eligible for placement. Tcs, accenture, Deloitte,amazon, samsung etc. Highest package is 42 lakh offered by Amazon. Eighty to ninety percent student get placed . I want to work in faang companies right now .

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy

Although the college is only 6 acres but it is well maintained
You can find various benefits in the college by joining different clubs
Faculties are passed from prestigious universities like IIT, IIM, MIT etc

Dislikes

College is not big so you can't explore In the college
There are no air conditioners in classrooms so It feels really hot in summers

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about placement because I don't want to sit in the placement drive of my college. Like I told earlier also that I have interest in electronics, so I want to do something in that field. If I want then I will give GATE exam after 4 years of my college so that I can get a chance to do MTECH in vlsi.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor.
