Outward appearances are always deceptive ~ KIIT

This course was what I aimed for in my life. 1:100 is the student: teacher ratio. Qualification of the faculty is that they have spent their whole academic career in KIIT without understanding the concepts of any subject in particular. Term exams happen in 2 months intervals. Exams were a bit difficult to pass. With honest efforts, exams are manageable.

The companies which offered internships are LinkedIn, High Radius, Hitachi, Dell, etc Projects and outcomes are different ML projects, projects based on IOT, AI projects, etc. The projects are usually done by the students mentored by a particular faculty.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards. The companies which usually visit are Hitachi, High Radius, LinkedIn, IBM, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. The highest package as per the news is 60 LPA for the 2023 passing year and the average package as per the company is 6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is 100% for the CSE branch. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Fees are very high as per the quality of teaching and cooperation with students. Some scholarships are there like KIIT MERIT SCHOLARSHIP, KIITEE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP, etc. Financial assistance is not at all up to the mark. Jobs have not been offered yet.

The annual fest is named as KIIT Silver Carnival which happens once in 25 years. Books are not always available in the library as librarians remain busy with their personal work. Classrooms have good amenities like A. C., fans, lights, tables, chairs, etc. Sports like cricket, football, basketball, etc can be played here. Social groups like many societies and clubs are there which are run by students.

The course is quite eligible for B. Tech. The application form can be found on the KIIT official website from any web browser. The application fees is NIL, form comes free of cost. The application dates are in the months of January, February, March, April, etc. Dates change from time to time as per students' requirements. The reservation benefits can be availed for General, OBC, SC, and ST students. They have to pay very low fees. Reservations are also there for foreign students as they get special scholarships from the Government throughout their study at this University. Some other students whose financial condition is very poor, get special concessions from the University. Students of army personnel also get discounts. There are so many improvements.
