Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is nice and the faculty members are also quite knowledgeable. In-depth study of computer science and technology is taught. Cultural events are also organised at the university and star nights are also organised.

Internships Opportunities

KIIT provides internship opportunities from the 6th semester onwards, many companies visit the campus like Atlasian, LinkedIn, Trilogy, rtCamp, etc. They offer stipends ranging from 20000 to 175000. They also offer PPO

Placement Experience

From the past records, we can say that KIIT offers genuine placement offers. It generally offers 100% placement for almost every branch. The average placement for the CSE branch ranges from 6-8 LPA and the highest placement this year went upto 62LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

After the KIITEE entrance exam, if you score a rank under 1000, you will get a scholarship of 10000 per month. The fees structure is 175000 per semester and hostel fees are 60000 per semester and mess fees are around 22000 per semester

Campus Life

Life on campus is extremely good. Every year KIIT organized KIIT FEST, this year for star night Sunidhi Chauhan came. Moreover, there are many clubs and bars around the campus for fun and entertainment.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are just fine, the cost of three sharing AC hostels is 60k and mess fees are 22k. The food in the mess is better than other universities but I would rate it 6/10. In timings for boys is around 8:00

Admission

The admission process was quite easy, fully online based, and counselling was also online. All the admission process is done through the KIIT official website. Application fees were completely free, only the KIITEE exam is to be given

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
