Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I love computer science. The facilities here are good in their field and their qualifications are also very good. The exam conducted was very smooth and on time and it was a little difficult to pass but not impossible.

There are huge numbers of internship opportunities are there in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and the college provides every facility to avail of them at any given point in time. Companies like high-radius Amazon gives internship opportunities to students.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 4th year students are eligible for campus placement 95-100% of students get placed in kiit. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, trilogy, high radius , LG , Dell , Cisco ,. IBM, Infosys and most of the famous companies come to the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology are very high and there is a significant hike in fees every year but during the admission exam if you score good marks there is a scholarship also available.

Campus Life

Life at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is damn good. U will feel that you are in college. Fest is organized every year and students participate in great numbers and have fun. Sports infrastructure is very good in kiit.

Admission

Eligibility should be more than 75% in maths physics and chemistry. The form is available on kiit official website. Or directly go to kiittee and type the year of admission. No improvement is needed in the admission process.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
