Good internship opportunities

I choose this course because I wanted to become a Software Developer with a decent package in my hand. The faculties in the college are very supportive and decent except for the few who don't give deserving marks to the students. The girls and boys ratio is 3:1. University exams occur on time but there's no gap between the exams.

Internships are offered by many companies such as Amazon, CSG, High Radius, Fico, Comviva, etc with a stipend of 25000 to 150000 per year for different roles offered. A student must have good coding skills and must have done decent projects on Web Dev, ML, AI, BlockChain, App Dev, etc so that their chances of getting selected for the internship increase.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Many companies visit the college such as Amazon, Cognizant, High Radius, Capgemini, Adobe, CSG, JP Morgan, Delloite, etc. The average package is around 8.5 Lakhs. This year (2022) highest package offered was 58 Lakhs. Almost 95% of students get placed every year. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed with a salary of around 20 LPA.

Fees are very high, only those students who are financially strong can study here, I mean if you check about the course and hostel fees. Here, one can get a KIITEE scholarship if he/she secures AIR under 1000 in the entrance exam and maintains CGPA above 7.5 per semester. The scholarship amount is 60000 per semester.

No annual fests are conducted here since this college has more than 60000 students. I enjoyed only one fest which was 2 weeks long and held in the month of February 2023. This was held with the inauguration of the college's silver jubilee. A student will get the books every semester for free from the college itself. Sports and extra-curricular activities are held every month in the college. You can participate in any of the sports or activities hassle-free. There are many student groups which are known as Student Society. I was in two societies named Kamakshi-HeforShe and Microsoft Students Community.

There are AC and Non-AC rooms available in the hostels with 2 to 3 persons living in a room. Meals provided in the hostel are good enough, not very much, but okayish. Registration for hostels is done when you take admitted to the college. A particular room will be allowed after you reach the college physically. My hostel allotted was KP-3.

The admission process was easy. It required filling up an application form and then the KIITEE entrance exam was held. The form was available on the college's website. Any student who has done his Intermediate with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths is eligible to apply for the form.
