Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because I want to be an engineer since I was a kid. The student ratio is ok here better than in other technical colleges. The faculty here is mostly guest staff so they are not very good. Some of them are good while some of them are just mid-level. Some of the faculty are PhD scholars while some are PhD qualifiers. I personally don't like the teaching method of a single professor here. Talking about exams it's not that difficult to pass, but the university doesn't give enough gap between exams and it pressurises the students.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Microsoft, Adobe Aakash institute, Epic, Accenture, Lenskart, Reliance jio, Samsung, Linkdlen, Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm, VISA, DeShaw, etc are the companies that offer internship opportunities in NSUT

Placement Experience

3.5

From 2nd and 3rd year students are eligible for internships and 4th year students become eligible for placements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Aakash institute, Epic, Accenture, Lenskart, Reliance jio, Samsung, Linkdlen, Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm, VISA etc. There are companies that visited NSUT. The highest package is 45lpa and the average package for tech branches is 15-20 LPA. Around 90% of students get placement. As of now my plan after this degree is to take placement and work

Fees and Financial Aid

Belonging to a middle-class family the fees here are very much for me. Also, 10k fees increase with every passing year. It's 2.19 lac, 2.29lac, 2.39lac and 2.5 lac for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year respectively which is very costly for a middle-class student. I got the e-district scholarship which gives me 900rs per month. Although the internship and placement record for my university is good and it's getting better day by day.

Campus Life

4

Moksha-Innovision is the annual tech fest of NSUT which is conducted in March. The library is good, very spacious but many books aren't available here. The classrooms are just perfect. They are big, with full AC, perfect lighting and comfortable chairs. NSUT has a big sports complex. There are just so many sports for students indoors, outdoors every type. For other activities there are societies. NSUT has over 45 societies which are run by the students for the students. Such as Mirage and Capella for dancing, Crescendo for music, DebSoc is the debating society, Ashwamedh is the drama society, Junoon for the club of photography, Tatsam is the Hindi society etc There are many other societies in the University After all this campus life is quite hectic because the university mainly focuses on academics.

Admission

The admission process is quite easy, you just need a bit of guidance. JEE main is the entrance exam for this course which is conducted by NTA. Application is done on their website. The cutoff is quite high for this course.88.4 percentile for the general category. The eligibility of this course is to clear JEE mains with the required percentile,75% and 65% marks in 12th class exams by general and reserved categories resp. All the information about JEE mains is provided in the information bulletin given by NTA and the information regarding the admission process is given in the admission brochure given by JAC Delhi. Reservation benefits are only availed if you have the respective certificate. Even if you lower rank you can get a better branch. Also, there are many scholarships from the government use for reserved categories. JAC Delhi should upload the result on time, they always upload it a day later. Also, the fees for SC/ST should be less as they are backward classes, it will be beneficial for them

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
