Course Curriculum Overview

my course is computer science engineering and according to its placement I selected this course because I am interested too much in it main faculty and guest faculty both are there. hod and top faculty are best in their qualification and also guest faculty are passed from IIT and have mtech and phd

Internships Opportunities

internship opportunities are available on campus but there is a thing for boys and girls both are different a girl can get internships easily but for a boy it's too difficult to on campus you have to be petty good at coding and with a GPA of 9 +

Placement Experience

for placement is the best thing in college that payoff the worth of all the hard work you did in JEE. over 200 plus company visits the college and the best tech company like google uber Mircosoft also comes and avg placement for computer related branch is 19lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

So about the fee, I would like to say it's a bit costly as other govt colleges are much more cost-effective but this JAC Delhi college is not. college + hostel+mess for my course is 12-13 lakh for 4 years which is costly and for scholarships, there is one merit-based that is available for everyone

Campus Life

so coming to college or campus life, can't be better explained by any hostel. the campus is 145 arcs lust green and the vibe of campus is just amazing. there are different types of clubs and societies for different interests.

Admission

The eligibility, of course, is JEE main exam and from that, according to your rank, you can apply for the course. For application, you have to apply through JAC Delhi for reservation so nsut is a govt college so the reservation is the same as another govt college also there are different levels of deference student reservation admission process is bit simple for Delhi students they have to report at campus for document verification

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. The Hidden Truth of NSUT

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully....Read More
