The course is a combination of various fields. It gives insight into different fields like fashion designing, sketching, Ux/Ui, Interior design, animation design, communication design and more. The faculty of design are from reputed backgrounds.

The on-campus placement and internships happen all around the year the internship season starts in the month of May and the placement season from the month of August. For different job descriptions companies come.

Placement Experience

The college is known for its campus placements and companies like Google, Amazon, Adobe, Bain, Wipro and more reputed companies come for the placement hiring. As the first batch of bachelor of design will graduate in 2024 therefore no placements have happened for the same

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is the same as the rest of the Netaji Subhas University of Technology branches. The fees increase every year by every batch with the increasing number of students. The fee structure for my batch was 2.5 lac per annum

Campus Life

The inter-cultural fest of the Netaji Subhas University of Technology is Moksha which is held in the month of March and the intra-cultural fest of the Netaji Subhas University Of Technology is Resonanz. The technical society of the Netaji Subhas University of Technology is Innovision.

Admission

The admission was done through the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) ranking and board results. After the first step, the students selected had to give their documents and complete documentation and then were welcomed in batches.

IITD from a first years perspective

Likes

I like how the campus was big and had all the facilities from sports to extra curricular there is everything you want to do.
The seniors are friendly and whole environment is encouraging and helps in your growth
It’s affordable if you consider the facilities it’s giving and also supports you financially later on.

Dislikes

The hostel wasn’t that good and air conditioning was not allowed. During peak summers you really can’t stay in your rooms.
The pace of everything is pretty fast so you have to be mentally prepared for it
The drainage system isn’t good. It’s the same as the rest of Delhi.

Placement Experience:

The placements are great. The department responsible for placements is OCS and they are the best at their job they find top class recruiters and that too from big companies in your field. They also teach you how to prepare for them from the first year itself.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for placement sessions. Companies visited are all tech companies core, non-core, etc. The highest package is 1cr and the average is 8 lakhs, 90% of students got placed. Pursuing MBA after this degree.

Insight to Pearl Academy

Placement Experience:

Placements are relatively good in comparison to other fashion colleges and placements start during the 7th semester. Companies like Raymond and high level MNCs come to the campus for placement opportunities. Highest package goes upto 10lpa and 1-2lpa on average. Students having CGPA greater than 8 are offered good packages.

I miss my college life at IIAD!

Placement Experience:

The placement cell was very supportive - I now work for a UI UX design consultancy. Got placed from the college itself. Before that, I got a chance to complete 3 different industry internships -one of them was for 4 months - giving me so much exposure. I learned the maximum during this one.

Admission:

First, you have to give Written Admission Test GPT and DAT then Personal Interview. All candidates are required to undergo a Personal Interview after the Written Admission Test at their respective Entrance Examination center /Personal Interview center’s mentioned on their Admit Card.

Great skill development!

Entrance Preview:

Entrance examination is conducted by the college itself! And there is no such score.. They tell if the student has cleared for the interview or not! And i opted for this college because this is one of the top five design colleges in India.

Great Memories

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks but one bad remark is that you have to continue your course from the university in Sohna after 2 years of span at the college in Delhi. This is to populate the university and to get the right kind of exposure from their but, in the end its all a happy memory.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. If someone is from outside Delhi then for coding culture you should join NSUT while for fun and fests, you should join DTU....Read More

1. I applied to only 2 colleges DTU and NSUT. But I didn't choose dtu because of traveling issues, as it was 2 hours away from my house and nsut was just 15 mins away. 2. I didn't get a rejection from other colleges, but I myself choose not to there, as NSUT is a reputed college and government college for btech. It is one of the top college in delhi. 3.
