Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because the design is my passion. The faculty-to-student ratio is fairly nice. Most faculty members are highly qualified and doing great in their own professional lives. There are two semesters with midsems and endsems. Class tests are held before each sem.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 219000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am yet to encounter internship opportunities as a fresher. But our seniors have done internships at IIT DELHI and many more. A letter of Recommendation is given by faculty members for internships.

Placement Experience

Eligibility for campus placements is different for each branch and stream. The highest package of a Netaji Subhash University of Technology student is 32 LPA. There were 175 offers made in 2021-2022.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee per year is 2,19,000. For scholarships, you have to apply through e-district or nsp. The fees are quite fair compared to other design colleges. As a fresher, I am yet to apply for jobs but seniors get very good placements.

Campus Life

Moksha-Innovision is the annual fest and along with that we also have Resonanz. Moksha - innovation is held around march and resonant is held around October. The library is very well maintained and is stocked with books that are relevant. Classrooms are top-notch. There are many sports events that take place like winter sports and annual sports meets. There are numerous student-run societies.

Hostel Facilities

There are three girls' hostels namely Saraswati (non-ac), Kaveri ( ac), and Alaknanda (international). There are 4 boys' hostels Ramanujan, Raman, Bhaskar, and Aryabhatta. All boy's hostels are non-ac except for the international boy's hostel Jc Bose.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Admission was conducted through the IITB portal. The Netaji Subhash University of Technology was listed as one of the colleges that rendered UCEED marks ( a design exam conducted by IIT Bombay ) as eligibility criteria for students.

NSUT review as a first year student

Placement Experience:

students get elligible for campus placement in the fourth year. Although have heard some students say to focus more on skills as working in a studio will be better than placement and have also not heard such good news about the amount of students getting placement. my plans too is to focus on skills more than the grades as that would be more helpful and is whats needed more for the career i am going for, instead of the marks i got on writing theory in my answer sheets

Placement Experience:

Speaking about placements I have very little knowledge about it as I am in first year, but after engaging with some really helpful seniors there has been a good hype in the campus placements and I've also heard very reputable companies have accepted students from this college. Also to mention the most important part of this college is it has a 99% placement program which really stood out to me, while talkin to the administrative staff my interest piqued when I heard there was a student who got 12lakh per annum placement opportunity

Placement Experience:

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for placement sessions. Companies visited are all tech companies core, non-core, etc. The highest package is 1cr and the average is 8 lakhs, 90% of students got placed. Pursuing MBA after this degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More

The College Quest

I got EE (Electrical Engineering) in DTU but I preferred NSUT ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) just because of my branch priority. Admission process of NSUT is quite simple, you have to give JEE Mains and then participate in JAC counselling. There are different cut-offs for different categories and there is 85% quota for Delhi students as well. NSUT - A place you can be at!

I wanted Computer/IT which I was getting in NSIT. Also it was close to my house so that was a plus. Admission process was simple. Apply on josa website and select your branches and wait for the results.
