Course Curriculum Overview
The course basically contains the basics of Finance, Marketing, Consulting, etc. After getting the foundations right, we can choose electives from various domains from Term 3. There will be 7 classes and 75 odd students with six courses in each category. The faculty-student ratio would be 1:10. All the faculties were well qualified. The exam pattern usually is midterm, end term with projects and assignments and class participation.
Internships Opportunities
There are around 70 companies for summer internships in 2022. The roles range from sales, marketing, and consulting to product and project management. You will be given a department and given a specific role in the 2-month tenure. Based on your performance the company can give PPO offers.
Placement Experience
There are a total of 70 companies that visited our college. The offer ranges from 75000 to 4 lakh per month for the summer internship. There will be definitely 100% placements and that too in a good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are multiple (around 25) scholarship schemes for all types of students. There is DML, rasjhana scholarship, arjuna, and much more. The company in which I got placed is Aditya Birla Group with a stipend of Rs.1.5 lakh per month. The cost to study is 25 lakh
Campus Life
All the classrooms have AC. The water refilling and restroom stations are available nearby. Sangram, Sangharsh, and Unmaad are some of the fests conducted. There is a sports complex where multiple sports activity takes place. The college also has 27 clubs and societies.
Hostel Facilities
In the room, we have a cot, bed, table, rolling chair, pillow, bed cover and sheets, and a cupboard. The hostel is cleaned every day and rooms are also cleaned free of cost. My hostel is the newly built R block.
Admission
Anyone with a UG degree of 3 or more years can apply. The person needs to take the CAT exam (1-year validity) after which based on the cut-off will get shortlisted. For IIMB, the college will send a mail if you get shortlisted, and WAT and PI take place. After that, the college will reply if you are selected, on the waitlist, or rejected.
Interview Experience
The interview questions range from your academic background, topics of your interest, current affairs, and much more. Since I am a fresher, I need to revise some of the topics which were taught in my college and read newspapers and articles about current affairs.
