Course Curriculum Overview

I always had a lot of interest in computers and their stuff and I loved coding in my 12th standard, therefore, I'd already decided to opt for cse at some good engineering college and thus luckily when I got a chance to pursue my B.tech from NSUT it was quite intriguing. student ratio I quite good I'd say 3 girls per 10 boys. The teachers and faculty are also very nice and are just too awesome. Exams are as exhausting as ever they just pop out of nowhere and we find them very hard but with enough practice, one can pass with decent marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 235000 per year

Internships Opportunities

many big companies like Microsoft amazon adobe Goldmann saccs visit our campus for internships and also provide the students with the PPOs which is very good they basically conduct interviews in 3-4 rounds and mostly all students who have put enough effort get placed on our campus.

placements season starts at the end of the second year or 4th semester when companies start coming for the internships and for placements it begins at the end of 6th semester many reputed companies like amazon Microsoft and adobe visit our campus every year and hire a lot of students almost 80% of students get placed I plan to work as a SDE at some MNC

Fees and Financial Aid

fees are something that's very high if I compare it to other common government colleges but it's worthwhile since it is covered through high placement packages. a lot of scholarships are also available for students like merit cum means financial assistance scholarship provided through the e-district portal of Delhi govt. and NSUT also provides a scholarship namely CVPSK.

Campus Life

MOKSHA the long-awaited fest of our college is the time in our college when every face can be caught smiling and enjoying the fest of our college. the library comes in handy during exams and class tests for revision and study purposes as they are a very quiet place to concentrate while studying sports facilities are also provided on our campus but TT is among the best which I enjoy the most LMDE is our group managed by our friend circle and is very respected among our peers

Admission

Eligibility of course was to have more than 80% in 10+2 and a decent rank in JEE mains examination, the admission process was through JAC Delhi counseling. the application form can be filled out from the NIC website and after your result of JEE exam you can register for JAC counseling where you'll be able to get a seat at NSUT

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. The Hidden Truth of NSUT

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully....Read More
