Remarks

The admission process included sitting for the CAT exam, and clearing a cutoff for the college (of around 92 to 95 percentile). The application form is filled out during the CAT registration itself. Then the interview calls are rolled out, after which a round of GDs and Pis are conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview

I decided to enrol in this course because my interest lies in finance. IIM Trichy is a college known for its finance faculty and its placements in the same domain. IIM faculty members are highly qualified and have earned their doctorates from one of the old IIMs. The teaching pedology is generally case based which gives us a great understanding of the practical scenario.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Internships Opportunities

More than 30 companies come for summer placements in IIM Trichy. The job profiles offered are very diverse and are in fields like- marketing, finance, operations, consulting, etc. companies like JP Morgan, and HDFC come with finance roles. MCKINSEY and bain in the field of consulting and companies like Colgate, Berger paints and many more in the field of marketing.

Placement Experience

There is a very systematic placement process with a lot of companies coming to our college, providing job opportunities in all the field. The average CTC is 1800000 a year. Job requirements in the field of sales and marketing are the maximum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The campus placement offer generally starts in august and lasts up to December. The college has a total fee of 1800000 and an average placement of 1800000 as well. For the summers the highest stipend offered is 1.6 lakhs a month and the average is 70 thousand a month.

Campus Life

The Campus is huge with almost all sports grounds available. It has a sports complex which has all courts for indoor sports. There are a total of 23 clubs and committees in the college which helps us grow our network and also interact with people outside the campus.

My experience about my college

Placement Experience:

Actually the student of last semester student only participate in campus interview in a campus interview. they will selected 15 to 20 people in a campus interview. they don't select all the people and they came from local companies near by Salem.village area companies like a factories like cement company , manufacturing companies soda packaging company like that company offered as management training for the one year they will provide 15 to 20000 there will be a increment and promotions on that manufacturing companies . the student selected in campus interview they was well educated student and well known student about the MBA concept and they didn't they didn't fail in any subject they clear all the papers and get the good marks even first class students they are better but my interest was in local companies so I choose to go in big MNC companies but in my college they don't offer campus interview for the big companies they call only local companion so I don't have interested at local companies.

The admission process starts with CAT Exam on the last Sunday of November Every year. The eligibility to give the CAT exam is that one must have more than 50% in 10th, 12th and Graduation. After the CAT results are declared, one must go through a Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. After these processes are done, a composite score will be generated based on 10th, and 12th, graduation marks, Work Experience, GD, PI and WAT performance.
