Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B. Tech (ECE) course because I was good in physics & it's my area of interest. In 2017 my batch size was of 180 students & out of which 90 opted for ECE. All the faculty members were Phd. graduates from abroad & teach with the blended learning methodology. The 80% of the evaluation was done via regular assignments & projects & 20% was dependent on the score of final examination. There will be only one exam in a quarter & its difficulty level is very high.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, the students became eligible for the placements & the students had to start building up their resumes. All the Tech giants like- Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. comes to the campus with mind-boggling offers & takes 70-80% of the students on Full Time & internship roles.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay the fee for the course for the complete year in one go. There was an increase of 20% in fees every year. Financial assistance will be provided to the students who are from the EWS category based on the official certificate issued by District Magistrate for EWS.

Campus Life

The campus life was really very cool. We have different clubs based on the area of interest of the individual. Each year we have One Tech Fest- Esya & One Cultural Fest- Odessey at our campus which was really amazing in terms of activity & fun. We also have a sports committee which was responsible for organizing various sports activities & tournaments inter & intra. college.

Admission

Needs to clear the JEE Entrance Test Application Form has to be applied through the College Website via NTA score. Reservation Benefits are also given like Relaxation in the Selection Process by 30% We can merge the admission process with the selection process with the state universities based on the NTA scores. So that each individual doesn't have to apply separately for all the universities & can access all the things in one place.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

my college life in a snapshot review

I applied to several top colleges including NSUT,DTU IIIT Hyderabad and few other colleges i got confirmend admission offers from NSUT(ECE) and iiitd cse and eventually chose iiitd beacuse of its strong academics focus on computer science excellent faculty and modern infrastructure the research culture and the curriculum at iiitd rellay stood out compared to the others. It's more aligned with current industry trends like AL amd ML I didn't get IIIT Hyderabad cse because of my jee main rank didn't ,make to the cutoff the competition is super intense there ,espically for cse and i fell short by a small margin but honestly i don't regret it IIITD offers a comparable level of educarion with a strong coding culture snd great placement records The admission process for IIITD straightforward but slightly different from other institutes .For Btech addmission are primarily through JEE mains via JAC for delhi based students they also take admission frommthe student that come from uceed and they alsi consider class 12 percentile as a part of eligiblity for a few program the cutoff of jee mains goes really high for cs branches and it even more tiugher for outside delhi student...Read More
