DTU- a glimpse

The college has introduced the New Education Policy(NEP) for the students, which came up with the lots of changes in the curriculum, the latest and demanding course are being taugh by the university. Also college offers various courses for the extra-curricular acctivites which student can opt according to their choice.

The internship oppurtunities starts from the 5th semester. All the major tech companies visit campus for the internships like google,uber,microsoft,salesforce,winzo etc. The companies also provide the ppo to their interns.

The campus placements starts from the beginning of the 7th semester. The stats of the top-branches is quite good, more the 80 percent students who applied for the placements get offers. The major tech-companies like Google, Microsoft ,Amazon, Uber,SalesForces,Meesho etc visits for the campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 1.84CR by the amazon ireland, the avg package of the tech branches lies between 18-20lpa. overall 75-85 students get placed.

In the first year i have paid 2,19,000, in the second year i have paid 2,29,000, int the third year i have paid 2,36,000, in the fourt year i will pay 2,46,000. The college offers ample scholarship oppurtunity for the students from the weaker section like SC,ST,OBC,EWS, also provides scholarship to the branch, university toppers.

The DTU is famous for it's number of the fests, all over the year you can see that vivid types of fest is happening all around the campus. The name of the Cultural Fest is EngiFest one of the largest fest of the Northern India, there is also film and cultural fest named Yuvaan, there is also techfest . The college provides good seating area in the classrooms, with centralized air conditioning , projectors in all the classes. There are more than 80+ studetns run socities present in the campus DTU provides very large grounds for the cricket, football, also courts for the badminton, tennis, and there is indoor court present.

I applied for the IIT'S and NIT'S but i was offered best branch in DTU rather than the other colleges and DTU was also close to my home , so i opted for it. No, i didn't get rejections from the other colleges which i had applied for, but i was not getting decent branch in them. The admission process for the DTU is you need to appear for the JEE-Mains, then by taking participation in JAC-Delhi counselling you will alloted the college.

The faculty are quite supporting and friendly to the students in most of the cases, there is 20:1 faculty to student ratio. College provides ample of the courses to pursue and almost all the branches are offered by the college. talking for the exams pattern there are majorly two exams one is mid-term second is end-term apart from the class tests and the practicals.Exams are of medium level, one can excel in it easliy by decent preparation.

There is DTU gym which is free of cost anyone can visit there no fees is charged from the students but it is small in size. As such there is no restrictions for roaming in the campus, but there is hostel timings for the girls. one of the famous hangout place in dtu is OAT, WindPoint, NesCafe,Mic-Mac.
