Course Curriculum Overview
You have to complete at least amount of the credits for your degree. I have a very high interest in Electronic devices. You have to do some Institute Core courses and many Departmental Core courses. Faculty to Student ratio in Electrical Engineering - 2:5. Each faculty is Ph.D. in his field and has a very good teaching style. Exams are very frequent and the level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Only a few departments make internships available for students else students interested have to find them. You can go to professors for any project and then they will assist you in your journey of the project also.
Placement Experience
You might get PPOs after internships etc. but for campus placements, you are eligible after the 6th sem. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Samsung, VLSI based companies have offered placements. Last Year's maximum was 52 LPA and the average was 18 LPA. 90% of students who appeared were placed. Going for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no hike in fee. Even you have to pay fewer fees while being more and more senior. You get some relaxation based on income criteria. There are many scholarship schemes the institute provides but you can choose only one. You may get an education loan. Placements are pretty good with an average of 1800000 INR per annum but it differs from department to department.
Campus Life
There are many fests conducted in institutes each year but the Cultural and Tech Fest are the main ones. Cultural fest:- Renao (after mid sem of even semester). Tech Fest:- Technuctus ( After class test 1 of even semester). The library is not so big. The classroom is pretty good. Sports activities are good but many things are in progress. Many Clubs are run by students from which I am part of the Coding Club and Well-being Club.
Hostel Facilities
All the important facilities are provided to students in the hostel. Mess food is just average but repeats after every two weeks. The registration process is not difficult everything is done by authorities you just have to provide your details. I have not rented any room in the locality.
Admission
Yes, you have to pass two exams JEE MAIN and Advanced. You are eligible for JEE-Main if you have passed 12th from a recognized board in the current or last year of the exam. After passing Main only you are eligible for Advanced. After clearing the cut-off only you can go for counseling where you will be offered a college. For application go to JEE MAIN's official website. You might get the benefits of caste reservation in the Cut-Off.
