AOT-Academy Of Technology [All about my college]

The course name is B.Tech Computer Science and Business Systems. When I came to know about this course it seems to me that it's quite interesting because we're going to learn all the things from CSE and also some extra things related to MBA about business technologies and many things. So I thought at that time that it will really be an industry-friendly course and that it will spread rapidly one day in the technology industry because the CSBS stream is one step ahead of CSE. Faculty members are really very good and too much friendly. All teachers are well qualified . They are very friendly with all the students. Besides completing the course curriculum syllabus they also gives us some preparations and guidance for the competitive exams such as GATE, CAT, UPSC, etc. More over I'm very pleased with the respectful faculty of our college. Exams are not so hard. You can prepare yourself if you take the notes of classes regularly you can easily pass the exams and for good marks, there is an organizer just read.

Mainly TCS offers internships at the end of 3rd year with a good amount of stipend. There are some other companies also like Cognizant, ITC Infotech, IBM, etc that also gives internships. All students have to submit at least a project on the given topic from the teacher and it's mandatory for all. Students are well-informed and guided in making the projects.

Placement starts at the end of the 6th semester. Those who are eligible for the placements can sit and crack jobs. Reputed MNCs like Capgemini, Cyient, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, IBM, etc visit the college for placements. The highest package is around 8 lakhs/y and the average is around 4 lakhs/year. Over 90 percent of students got placements and were hired in reputed MNCs. I'm currently in the 3rd sem so surely I want a good job with a good amount of package from my college. Hoping for the best.

The total fees for 4 years are 4 lakhs approx. Semester fees are around 40k and there are some other small charges for some particular events like teachers' day, fests, freshers, etc. All the scholarships that are available during B. Tech can be applied directly from the college or by yourself if you have passed the given criteria for the scholarships. The college fully assists us with the scholarships. Campus jobs are always taken place throughout the whole year. It starts from the end of the 6th sem and goes up to the last sem. More of the students who scored well in the semester exams were offered jobs.

AOT has one of the biggest campuses. The campus is full of green trees and in the center of it, there is a pond. The atmosphere is really wonderful inside the campus basically in the summer. ARCADIA the biggest fest of AOT takes place between the month of march-may in every year. Various artists in the past had come here to perform like Mika Singh, Sonu Nigam, KK (rip sir), and many more. The library is really huge and there approx all the books related to engineering are available and also the books about CAT, and GATE exams too. There is a basketball court on the campus and a big football ground. Hostellers play cricket and badminton in front of their hostels. There is student chapters for respective streams and student coding clubs also.

You can take admission in AOT through JEE Mains or WBJEE. If you are alloted Academy of Technology in your counseling just go to the college all the processes (form fill up, fees, dates) will be told by the college authority briefly. I can assure you that the process will be very smooth as I've already experienced that during my admission so nothing to worry at all about this. From my pov, it doesn't seem to improve anything in the admission process because it's already smoothest.
