A Bachelor of art course is important for a student who is preparing for the UPSC exam and other government jobs. Bachelor arts can be done in various subjects like history politics economy geography philosophy English. The bachelor of arts program in IGNOU is named as BAG exams for bachelor arts for the January session held in December and for the July session held in June bachelor of arts is a 3-year program with a maximum time limit of 5 years course fees of bachelor arts rs 8700 for the full program with including books study material provided by IGNOU excellent in quality because books are written by eminent professors of Delhi University Jawaharlal Nehru University and many eminent colleges.

Internships Opportunities

IGNOU provide internship to students most internship are provided to students who are from a technical background and opted for technical courses like BCA MCA MBA many companies which give opportunities to students are Dell HCL Mahindra Wipro Ericsson tech Mahindra coding many more internships are provided with a stipend of 10000 to 20000 per month during an internship with a certificate of internship. Basically project which is given to students is based on coding like software analyzing bug finding.

IGNOU is the biggest open University in the world and University is enacted by the law of parliament so the degree is the same value as another regular college IGNOU also provide students placement in many eminent companies like Dell HCL Ericsson Mahindra and many more with an average package of 5 lahks but placement drive held in Delhi which is part for other states student so that's why number students participate in placement is less IGNOU provide good education through distance learning which makes students self-dependent mostly students in IGNOU are already in a job or prepare for government job I am pursing my bachelor of art degree from IGNOU after degree I have the plan to prepare for UPSC exam to be a civil servant and want to contribute in the development of my country.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees for a bachelor of arts are only 8700 including study material which post deliver to the student's address. College also provides many opportunities for students internships in prominent companies also placement help students to achieve their dream. Information about internship and placement was circulated on the University website IGNOU also provide scholarship for students and financial assistance to those who are from the backward category. The average package of placement is 5 lakh rupees. From above you should know how affordable University one more thing about IGNOU it is the biggest open University in the world.

Campus Life

Because of distance learning most of the time, student was not aware of curricular activities and sports but IGNOU is a prominent university in the world and also provide an opportunity for students to excellence in other activities like sports. There is more than 400 campus of IGNOU in India and 7 abroad which have the facility for sports like cricket and football many things some of the classroom smart class and books in libraries is difficult for distance learning students so IGNOU provide knowledge of books through its Gyankosh platform which is a repository of softcopy of books.

Admission

For admission you have to pass 12 classes with a minimum of 40% marks then you are eligible for taking admission in ignou. Reservation benefits are also available in terms of fees exemption and concession. The admission process is online you have to enroll on ignou website. There are two sessions 1 January and 2 July batch for the Jan batch exam held in Dec and for the July batch exam held in June. Most courses or programs are yearly base you have to give an exam once In a year.

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits.
