Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the chemical branch because in my marks the best college with the best branch which I could get was this one so I took it The faculty-student ratio is 1:5 Mostly the faculty are Ph.D. ones and their teaching may not satisfy you much After every 2 months, mid-sem is conducted and every 4 months end sem is conducted with 4 months of holidays per yr As you have come here after qualifying jee so not much difficulty would be faced by you

For general category students, I seem it's a little bit costly as they have to pay 1 lakh rs per month Scholarship you get here is basically ffe one for which your jee main s rank should be under 90k you can get a job after 4yr and for stipend, you have to crack the gate exam

Nitrutsav is the annual fest conducted in March and innovision is the tech fest conducted in November Books are available in ample amounts in the central library of nit Rourkela and journals also you may access Classrooms are very advanced with speakers colar Mike's and smart board and projector For Sports, you have 5-6 grounds and almost every sport is played here There are many clubs like ritvik, finance club Asara , udhhan, marvicks , synergy cell

Hostel Facilities

For the first yr you get 1 room and 2 students In 1st yr, you will get Vikram Sarabhai hall of residence Mess quality is not up to your satisfaction while I menu you will get 5 times a week nonveg For the hostel registration process, you have to do by coming to the hostel you have to pay for it online during the seat confirmation fee you have to take the hostel only not a rented room

Hostel Fee: INR 22500 per year

Admission

To be eligible you should qualify JEE main To apply for this college you have to seat for jossa counseling you have to pay rounds and then if you get into college you have to pay fees online and then for more info on fees go to the official website of the college As it is a government college So I got a reservation and my college fees were availed The admission process is very systematic and is conducted in a very disciplined manner

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

So I choose these college over the others because of its relevant name and the hype of this college In India as It is Institute of national importance And also a government backed college and it is one of the most demanded college. So the colleges which I have applied to are DTU, NSUT, Nit Trichy, Nit Warangal, Nit Surat Kal And top 7 iits. No I was not rejected from the other college which I have applied to but the combination of branching and the college value Doesn't satisfied me for taking admission in that colleges. So the admission process for the Nit Rourkela Is that the eligibility criteria is 75% in 12th class And second criteria is to clear the entrance exam which is the JEE mains and also scoring a very good marks in it. Then by the centralised Josaa Counselling student will fill their choices ,lock and get allotments in the upcoming rounds of the josaa counselling. The ending rank to take admission in this college in the EC branch is about a 6000-7000 rank in the jee mains exam for the other state people. Everything about NIT ROURKELA ( campus life, placements, fees )

The best aspects of the college is the campus. It's the second largest campus in India. A lush green campus with a very good mess facilities. The buildings are great. Hostels are also good. Evrything about infrastructure was a plus point. Only negative point is the non availability of airport due to which some companies refuse to come a pick students.
