Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course INTEGRATED MTECH IN Geophysical technology because it has a great scope in the future and for research also this is a good recommended course. Faculties are overqualified here and it's a great student-professor interaction branch.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 200000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are great internship opportunities here, big companies like Microsoft, Google, etc, and consultancy companies like BCG, etc with a stipends from 50k to 400k, So you do not have to worry about companies and opportunities, company of nearly all categories hires here.

Placement Experience

Talking in-campus placement starts before the final year of the degree completion and internships in the 2nd last year in which there are possibilities that you get PPO(Pre placement offer) based on your work, and off campus, you can apply just after 1 St year completion. Nearly all students get placed here but some students have an interest in further studies and research so they do not apply for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't notice any price hike, I'm a student in 2nd year right now, yes financial assets are provided here based on the annual family income, and the institute itself provides internship opportunities. Fees I have already mentioned

Campus Life

There are many fests events in the college, tech fest, sports meet, competitions everything in every category but there are some big events like the annual cultural meet THOMSON, tech fest COGNIZANCE, and INTER IIT for sports and cultural between each IITs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are great, you will get enough sources for your proper accommodation and proper meal for your health, menu changes every week based on students' interest as it is managed by student bodies.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The eligibility to get admission in the college is to clear JEE (MAINS +ADVANCED) and to get a good branch you need around 6-7k rank in the jee advanced entrance exam. I didn't belong to any reservation so I don't know much about that but yeah there is a certain reservation.

Campus placements starts here from the final year only as before that intenrships and workshops and trainings take it's toll. So, once they starts, every other week we have some or the other companies visiting here and not just that, they also don't go empty hand.

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
