Admission into the college is through an entrance exam named Common Entrance Exam, Assam. For admission, reservations are also available. The admission process is good and smooth. They arrange all the seats in a technical way. The admission fees are too lower. For better security of the seats, the college authority itself does a physical verification of all the students that get admission into the college.

All the departments of the college are good on their own way. But as a machine lover, I did choose the course. Also the departments faculty are from mechanical department are very well educated, friendly, kind and helpful to all the students. All the faculties are Postgraduated. Class tests and mod term exams (mid-semester) are also held by the respective departments in regular intervals of the course.

The course itself has an internship program allowed for the students. They must do an internship program at the end of the 2nd semester, 4th semester, and 6th semester. Instead of these, the college offers a special internship program abroad for two students on the basis of academic excellence.

The students become eligible for campus placement from 5th semester itself. The campus placement is moderate for the college. Companies like Luit Minerals, Oil India limited, Byjus etc comes for the on campuses placements. One of our seniors get placed in ONGC with package of 15 lacs per annum.

Getting scholarships while studying in college is too easy. One should apply for scholarships under various schemes and submit them to the specified authorities for further process. I got a scholarship viz. NEC scholarship under the NSP portal.

The college campus is quite helpful and refreshing for the students. An annual tech fest called TECHNISIA is organized by the students union of the college. There are the facilities of various groups or clubs like sports, cultural, tech, photography, etc through which students can adopt better stages them.
