Remarks

This college is decent for every student who wants to pursue engineering as a career. the college infrastructure is decent. If you want to start a startup on your own, then our college also has an incubation center. Computers and many science labs are available for every branch like electrical, computer, etc. For first-year students, physics, chemistry, electronics, and many more labs are available for every subject. Faculty members here are above average, and some are decent also.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are good and helpful. They have good knowledge of their respective fields and also they are available for you on phone calls. The course curriculum is standard and will make you job-ready at the end of the course. Sem exams are a little bit difficult but the passing percentage is quite high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the 1st year were Rs 90,000 with a hike of 10% every year and comparatively, it's the same in every engineering institute in the city for the open category. As I mentioned that I a from an open category, and there is no scholarship plan for me. Yes, the college provides placements but the only drawback was, only 30% of companies were offering technical kind of job, and the rest of the companies was offering non-technical and management jobs.

Campus Life

There are excellent facilities in our course. Free Wi-Fi is available in the college, and the classrooms are well-constructed, which is comfortable for us. The labs are also good with free Wi-Fi, other facilities canteen food is also good and Hygienic with medical facilities are excellent, and sports room are also good. Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, which will help us to understand things and all the topics taken by the teacher. Moreover, before the exam, all courses are completed by teachers, which will help us in the future. In addition, teaching will help to ready for placements in industries. Other: The college takes many events for students well developed on campus surrounding many extracurricular activities. I choose this course because it will be all about software in the future, and it is exciting.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
