Remarks

The eligibility of the course was to pass your 12th board with the add-on of good performance in JEE Mains. As an OBC student, I availed the benifits of Reservation. The admission process also provides you with different rounds for getting admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I was already interested in CSE. It was easy for me to shortlist the Courses I have to apply for. Faculties are all excellent as they have all perceived Ph.D. in their respective streams and do care to hold their responsibility to teach every student.

Internships Opportunities

As I have not yet completed any internship, cannot share any experience. But the institute provides opportunities for internships with handsome stipends and high chances to receive a great PPO as per your performance.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester (CPI > 8). The highest package (as of the year 2022) is 82 LPA, and the average package (as of the year 2022) is near about 18 LPA. I am interested in earning some work experience and then approaching higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a government institute, it helps you with the economic situation to perceive your degree. The cost to study here is very low compared to any other private institution. And if you're an EWS candidate, your study cost gets reduced to a considerable amount.

Campus Life

The institute conducts an annual tech fest - Abhikalpan, the annual sports fest - Gusto, etc. There is an excellent library for the books you need to achieve good grades. The institute has its official website - www.iiitdmj.ac.in

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are just up to the needs. They provide you with a bed, table, chair, and a cupboard to keep your belongings. The meal quality of the mess facility is just average. It is not allowed for students to stay outside the institute campus (for living purposes). So, every student has to stay in the Hostels the institute provides.

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff...Read More
