Remarks
I got my admission through JEE, a joint entrance exam that is held in overall India every year two times, as I am an OBC Delhi candidate and I wanted civil engineering, so scoring 88 percentile worked for me. Application form and related details you can find on JAC Delhi's official website. The admission process is all smooth overall.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course gives me ample opportunities in the govt sector so that's why I opted it, Faculty to student ratio is 1:80, with 1 teacher for every 80 students. Exams are overall moderate if you study well from the start of the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Every year, a lot of companies come to the campus to provide internship opportunities to students which makes it really easy for students to get an internship that makes it really helpful for them to get into a good company.
Placement Experience
Placements are really good, almost all of the students who sit in the placement get placed. For tech branches like CS/IT, the avg package that you get is around 20-30lpa and a max of 1-2 crores. And in lower non-tech branches, the avg package is 7-8 LPA. Core placements like in civil, and mechanical are dead nowadays so there's not much scope in it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total amount of fee is around 10-11 lacs for the whole engineering course of the 4rth year, but if you are a student with a ration card then you'll get 100% tuition fee assistance which would be 130000 approx, also there are various meritorious scholarships and scholarships for students who need financial assistance that you can check on NSP and edistrict portal respectively.
Campus Life
In our college, fests are a very regular thing, as there are lotta societies in the college. all societies have their individual fests. Societies are a very important part of your college life, some of the important societies are E-Cell and the cultural council that organizes Summit and engifest respectively.
