Remarks

The admission was based on a cap round through MHT-CET. Application forms released after the MHT -CET exam is ended and can be found on the official website of MHT-CET. OBC reservation is availed by applying for a scholarship on mahadbt website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it is a sub-branch in Computer science and also hardware experience in electronics as of IoT. There are enough facilities available to always help students. Faculties are highly qualified many faculties are PhD. Exams Happen 3 times in the semester 2 small ones and one end-semester exam. Exams are easy to pass with just one-day of study.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 97000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies for internship are amazon, byjus, TCS, Infosys, cognizant, and others. Students can also do internships in college self. Projects can be taken by students' interests. Stipends are only available to a few students who can clear the interview.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible to form 6th sem for campus placements. Campus placements are offered in the 7th sem and a compulsory internship is to be done. Some of the companies that visit are TCS, cognizant, byjus, and Amazon.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are high compared to the other colleges in Maharashtra. The cost to study a course is 1.6 laks per year but that can be reduced if you have a reservation. Scholarships can be availed on mahadbt website by applying and submitting all documents.

Campus Life

The annual fest happens between March and April, the name is anataragini and is very fun. All the course books are available in Library and many other books are also available to study related to the course. Classrooms have projectors and ascending heightened benches so everyone can see the board.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are available for 3 students per room and the rent is 90000 for 2 semesters. The bathrooms are common. The meal taste is not very good but is provided 4 times a day. The hostel is overpriced and the rules are pretty stirct not very affordable.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
