Remarks

Eligibility for the UG program is Higher Secondary Education with KEAM rank or a Three-year diploma with LET rank. After KEAM or LET exam, there will be a centralized allotment. As per the availability of seats you will get placed in the corresponding branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was the conventional system. Faculty members are so friendly and supportive. Especially in the Mechanical engineering Department. All the faculty members are Mtech qualified. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

IQVIA is the major internship opportunity for students. Other small companies are also available for internships. Also ISRO, KSRTC is the Govt. Sector internahip providers. Students will get activity points and job offer letters after the tenure period.

Placement Experience

From the seventh semester onwards students are eligible for placements. There will be placement training by the college itself. More than 50 + companies will come for placement. Most of the big packages are for Computer science students. Companies like TCS, L&T, MRF, Infosys, etc. Are the major recruiters.

Fees and Financial Aid

85% of seats are filled by Govt. Govt. Fee per semester is 3,500? excluding exam fees. For each subject 200, the exam fee with a fixed semester fee of 500. Most of the scholarships are available like MCM, Egrantz, etc.

Campus Life

It was really nice experience with TKM College of Engineering. Major amenities are Gymnasium, Tennis court, Volley ball court, Badminton Court, Multipurpose grounds, Indoor auditorium, Outdoor Auditorium, NSS, Film, and Drama club, Union, Civil service club, Photography club, etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull
