Course Curriculum Overview

4

What influenced me the most was none of the curriculum or anything I had an interest and then I did my research and then decided to join here, and here they teach you pretty much the basics you must know and they teach it well, but because it's only the basics they aren't that good for real world but if we are to keep the good work and use whatever we have to the fullest extent then we are able to build ourselves more fit for the real world, to be honest I would say they should improve the side of the teaching in which they are very behind in practical use, they should increase a practical usage section more, the forst internal exams are good we get enough times and everything and second internal is also good but for the third internal there is only like 1-1½ week(7-12 days) gape between the 2nd and 3rd internal and sometimes that affects the result

Placement Experience

3

From S3 we start to get placement training but S3 training is just a small training the tell you the basics and everything but from s5 the campus placement training, they take it seriously and the percentage of students getting placement is low. But because the college is autonomous they say the autonomous batch will have a 50% placement

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically 98,500 is the base fee for every batch after 2024, and there are many scholarships and in those you can apply after joining or before joining the college and you would only have to pay 10,000 per year, but you have to maintain a certain grade throughout your whole 4 year or they could cut you off from the scholarship. After the first year those who got into the college through merit got their fee reduced a bit and we all are said it would again get reduced as the years pass(Not for scholarship students). Then their is the hostel fees and in that you could have around 3,300-3,600 rupees per month for the mess and then a sem wise fee of 13,500 for the rooms and hostel for the whole semester and also their is a 10,000 rupees Quetiant deposit when you join the college and with this the hostel fees almost comes to around 46,000-50,000.

Campus Life

4

The tech fest is mostly conducted in September last week - november. Annual days aren't that much good. We mostly just go somewhere else with friends and yeah if you wanna enjoy you could but we just prefer this way. The library is pretty much good, has a good collection of books and journals we sometimes refer those but because of lack of interest I don't usually use the library. sports are kind of good in this college if you play good enough or if you are willing to learn they will give you good practice and if you perform well enough they select you for the college team and our college has many sports champions trophies in our college cabinet even though they would prefer studies over sports, they still provide you a good sports experience

Hostel Facilities

3

The room is okay and a room is shared by 4 people at most and it's spacious enough for 4 people and the hostel has Wifi connection (multiple wifi) and it's almost most of the te working and when there is some issues they fix it right away. The meals in the weekend aren't that good but other days it's good, the registration wasn't that long it took me like 1,2 hours only and that was because there were so many students waiting otherwise it would be over in 20-30 mins. The hostel is located inside the college campus and so escaping isn't an option, there are always securities on the patrol

Admission

I tried for merit but my KEAM(entrance exam) score was low so I didn't got admission at first then I got admission through management quota. The admission process is kind of lengthy and time taking they take some good time taking your information and registering you and yeah the management quota admission was done before I came to here and that's why it took that long and there was not management deposit or anything I only had to pay the yearly fee.

Faculty

5

Their are a total of 12 exams in a year, 6 per sem and till this sem(S3) their was always a subject that was very easy and wasn't a core subject, and the college was named autonomous so the exams are kind of easy but sometimes the question papers are tough but that doesn't mean it's always hard. They provide you a question bank and 60% of questions come from that question bank. So yeah the exams are kind of easy but not just simple easy, if you try enough then you can pass. The faculties are very approachable even strict teachers are very dedicated when it comes to learning, if we go to ask them doubts they would help us immediately. I don't have any favourites or anything when it comes to teachers everyone is the same supportive and everything but also some are strict and so that doesn't mean I necessarily hate or like any teachers, every teachers here are good

Night Life

3

Hostel night life is messed, you've gotta be inside yh hostel by 6:00pm and Atmost the time you get us 6:10 for first and second years and third and fourth years have time till 6:30PM and so there isn't anything good about night life in the hostel and by 8:45 it's study time and securities are always on watch. Other than that the college is surrounded by some good shops and cafe's so there isn't a problem with that if you are not in the hostel. There isna cafe called "Code n Curry" just outside the college and it's pretty much famous people hang out here usually and above the cafe it's a GYM and so it's a good pair gym and a cafe and also a place for people to hang out

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.
