Remarks

The admission process is almost perfect but it needs to be quick as it takes much time to fill in the form and submit it at the counter, the admission process should be online and to be quicker to save time

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it is good. My experience at the college is good as all the teachers are fair in teaching and provide assignment time to time and there is also sessional exams to test the students there are 2 sessional exams in 1 semester

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 13310 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are less available at the college but many companies are available there from where the student can do the intership. The internship time is approx 6 months after the student got a certificate from that company.

Placement Experience

Placement at our college is good for the courses of Msc, Mca and Btech but there are low placements in other courses. In those courses many companies approach there, the student should maintain approx 8 CGPA to get placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is an average of 13k per year for my course. The scholarship is also given by the college which helps students to get back almost upto 100percent. Placement of the college is also good at the college

Campus Life

My experience at the college is awesome till now, there are many functions conducted in the college and many spirits programs are also conducted there there is also a website of the college where students can log in and observe their info.

Hostel Facilities

The room given at the hostel is good and the meal given daily is almost good and also the registration process for the hostel can be done at the college there are also rooms and pg available in neighbour for students.

Interview Experience

Our admission process is done online because of the covid pandemic and due to the lockdown, the admission process is on the basis of merit. But generally, there is an entrance exam for this college so we have to prepare for what we have studied in the 11th and 12th classes.

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

The curriculum follows kumaun University guidelines ensure standardization and recognition core subjects are well structured and concept curriculum should a include more practical exposure projects work and field work examination are conducted semester wise and generally twice year internal assessments include test assignments and practicals during the semester

Likes

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

College Journey

Likes

Discipline in our college is too good, among students as well as teachers
In our college, children are taught different beneficial activities.
Our college also teaches well, all lectures are on time.

Dislikes

Since it is a government College, politics also goes on in the college at some places which causes trouble.
The exams are very tough which all the students have problem with and they also check it strictly.
Placements cost only 1 or 2%, nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am preparing for a government job, so I took admission in this course just to get a graduation degree and not for any other reason. There should be some improvement in the lab and also in the exam pattern. The timing of our exam is 2:30 hours which is less time because the exam is lengthy.

Likes

They prioritize education and teaching more
Social interaction with others in college is appreciable
Lab is fully equipped for experiments or practicals

Dislikes

Campus of our college is not too good and small
Absence of ac in library and other needed areas
Quality of infrastructure of classes is little bit poor

Placement Experience:

When one enters the final semester they become eligible for campus placement and many companies offers and discusses with them. Companies such as IGL, Vib care pharma, AVANTOR and many others visits every year with offers.

I like the hostel security and there are no ragging
Good teachers and friendly. Helping us lot.
Good infrastructure and better environment..

Hostel food is not so good. Small hostel room

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester student are eligible for placement. There are various plywood industries and forest base non Timber industries and cricket industries. The highest average package is like 4.5 lakh per year.

Aspects that i like the most is academic program, faculty expertise, and support and infrastructure and the aspects i don't like is outdated and inappropriate facilities

Limited opportunity for socialization and campus involvement leads to isolation
Insufficient support for people with disabilities
Exclusively can create an unwelcoming environment for some students

Yes I get rejection from all the lower branch iits and nits but I always want a govt. College with CSE branch that's why I choose gkv haridwar as my first priority.
