Yes as I am first year student I have been told by professor about various internships where top companies like Google Facebook Yahoo Accenture come to our college the Average package is around 6 lakhs and highest is 10 lakhs for computer science students

College Events

The biggest event that happens in my college is the annual fest - UTSAV. In this fest all kinds of activities such as dancing, fashion show, science, and general knowledge related quiz, skits etc happens. Students are given opportunities to host and organize the event without major interference from college management .the next event is the branch related fest that happens for 1-2 days with many students displaying and giving seminars on a thesis or a project.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for both merit listed and management listed students .However the hostel and mess fees touch the sky .Government aided candidates pay around 35,000 rs fees,Private aided pay around 50,000.Management students pay the amount in lakhs [depending on the branch] and end up paying 2.5 lakh a year as fees . 8 /10RATINGS

Gender ratios equal in all departments except mechanical it is male dominated , Student/Dorm Parties normal same as every college , workshops , cultural,program are more we have lot of programs organized from bmsce utsav to tech fest and students life in bms is royal compared to other college students a nd the environment is very friendly

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities and mess food are extremely good compared to other colleges .1 st years and 2nd years have to share the room with one of them, while in a 3rd-year student can opt for a single room hostel.Since it being in the center of the city, the allotment of rooms happens on merit based [12th and CET score ].There are also many PGs around the college for cheaper price. Quality of mess food is very good.Each day the menu changes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.Non veg is provided on Wednesday and Sunday.

Exam Structure

The performance of a student in each semester Was evaluated subject-wise for a maximum of 100 marks for a theory and 100 marks for a practical subject. In addition, industry-oriented mini-project, seminar and project work shall be evaluated for 50, 50 and 200 marks, respectively..

Admission

I got the mechanical seat through comedk exam It was a very complicated process for getting admitted in the college as I had to pay fee's online for Comed K and I had to wait until 2nd round that is just weeks before the college started overall bms college of engineering is on of the top college in the country

Faculty

Excellent curriculum and the college is highly sophisticated with professional schedules and the teachers professor are professional and it is easy to deal with the subject and the vtu portions /syllabus for 1st year is the continuation of what we studied in previous years and studying in bms makes it easy The faculty of my college is very well experienced and the other suitable factors like equipment,infrastructure,affordability, are also good. The faculty itself is sufficient and dependable. The environment of my college and hostel is easily adaptable. The student strength is highly competitive in nature. My college has a spacious library with a plethora of books which is one of the advantages to all the students.

Likes

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Supportive nature of few faculties for tech competitions both for participating as well as for organising

There is no much needed coordination among faculties
The student teacher bonds are not good for all faculties
Some over helmed rules regarding discipline and cleanliness

Well in case of placements it's not upto the mark because, As it's a Government college for companies there will be a zero promotion. One more thing is there is no separate funds to accommodate the officials came to the college for placements And the college is not working with 100% efficiency towards placements of students

The maintenance of campus is good ,and the college events , and the teaching level is also excellent and the particular student have there own mentor they guide in each thing
The way they support us encourge us for our success and support in every situation and also support to the students in placment or training opportunities
If we lack or we are in problem they will support to come out if that with good solution

the college is not too strict for that reason the students may spoil easily
the ratio of our college is like 60:40 that is the majority are boys , and the college fan are slow which cause problem in summer
the college washrrom are not clean that cause problem,lack if industry

Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

• Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester itself • Companies like TCS, WIPRO , INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, HCL , IBM , AMAZON etc do visit college every year and a good amount of 80 to 90 offers are made per year • Highest package offered here is 13 lpa and the average lpa is around 5 to 6 lpa • Almost every student gets placed here with a good lpa • My plan is to get a good job from here and secondly preparing for higher studies

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we will become eligible for campus placements. Very few companies will visit for chemical engineering those are aslo not core. Highest package offered for a chemical engineering is 600000 I guess this aslo a long back. But dont take a hope on placements here in chemical weapons. Do mainly focus on Gate exam. Get good score go for mtech or apply for good core jobs for interview.
