Remarks

For the admission procedure you have to pass Kerala Entrance exam conducted by CEE and you have to secure the cut off instructed by the college. The reservation categories are based on the performance in the entrance exam. The minimum eligibility for Btech admission is that you have to pass 12th with 45% marks in maths, physics and chemistry.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and Communication was one of the most demanding streams in SJCET because the core companies like Intel TAS are visiting the college so I opted for ece. Each department has more than 45+ faculty members and each and every faculty have a Mtech qualification and most of them completed PhD. The internal exams are conducted in a period of two months in between the semester. The difficulty level of the exam is average.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship with private companies. I got an internship by technbook in collaboration with iit Bhubaneswar. Respective branch industry experts from top MNCs will train you in the practical and industrial knowledge of a particular domain, so students can easily cope up. During the internship you will be provided with one minor and major projects.

Placement Experience

The students becomes eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. companies like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Mahindra, UST global, Accenture visits the college every year.Last year the college has got 600+ offers. The highest package of the 55 lakhs offered by Goldman Sachs for a computer science student and the average package is 6,50,000. An average of 75% students are getting placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is not very high as compared to the other private institutes in the state. As i entered the institute, I am currently in the 4th semester and the fees were never increased. I was eligible for scholarship of 20000 per year by the keam entrance cut off.

Campus Life

The college give you full support in sports and arts event conducted by college to the national level events. The annual tech fest of the college is Astra, it combines of technical skills of the students in the college and faculties. The library facilities one of the top class library facilities. The library has a large number of journals offered by the different authors around the world. When we look to the classroom and infrastructure of the college it is an average experience. ATM are available in the college. There are social clubs like NCC and NSS in the college. other groups like IEEE societies are also available.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
