What Students Say

Likes

College campus provides a good atmosphere to study.
placements are decent.well reputed companies like mahindra ,Tata etc comes to our campus.
Water purifier is installed almost every floor.

Dislikes

Working hours of our college is from 9 to 4 30 pm.
There many restriction in our college such as usage of mobile phones ,dresses etc...
Expect second satursday all other satursday are working day.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering deals with the design ,development ,installation ,operation and maintanances of anything that has moving parts. Because of this ,you will find revelant oppurnities in range of sectors.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements in our campus is not only based on the marks and it is also based on our skills.We need to be devbelop our skills inorder to get a good placement.There are placements from the foreign countries they are offering high salaries.

Fees and Financial Aid

The availablitily of scholarship in the college is based on the keam result and based on 12 th result.Our college provides various employement oppurnities if we get graduated. companies like mahindra, synergy group, Tata etc....are coming to our campus for placements.

Campus Life

I am studying in our campus for 2 years and felt like good atmosphere to study.there many falactilies in our college , we have many advanced machines in our mechanical workshop.There are many clubs in our campus and they participating competition every year.

Hostel Facilities

The overall Hostel facilities are good enougn but food in the mess is not good. Every one in hostel having many problems with the food but the wardens are not taking a proper action.The rent of our hostel is expensive ,we have to pay 4500 every month for mess and getting bad food.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

For the elegilibility for admission processs we need to pass in keam entrance examination or we can take admission in NRI seats.I dont like admission process based on reservation, beacuse the elegilible or quality students may refused to get admission.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. I had applied to various coleges. That includes amal jyothi college of engineering and technology and also registered for for rajagiri school of engineering and technology.
