Eligibilty PCB/PCMB in 12th with min. 60% for General and 55% for ST/SC/OBC. Eligibility after NEET is percentile based but admissions to college are based on rank according to the marks scored. NTA (National Testing Agency) is the main body which conducts the entrance exam. It is an annual exam held in the months of May and Jun. Reservation in the NEET 2022 is directed under reservation guidelines of the Government of India (GOI). Besides 550 EWS and 1500 OBC, 15% of seats are for Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% of seats for Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 5% seats for authorities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose the course because I wanted to be a doctor. The faculty-student ratio is good here and enough for all the students to get a proper education. But the space and lab facilities are a bit less as compared to the strength of the students. Faculties are highly qualified in the field and their teaching methods are also good. They use modern technologies to show images and slides using different presentations to teach in an excellent manner. We have 2 terminal exams and then a Pre-University exam filtered by a University(final) exam each year. Exams are quite tough as the syllabus is vast and we have to mug up a lot of information, which makes it very hard.

Internships Opportunities

3

There is a mandatory internship in the hospital for one year to get the degree. After clearing final year exams students are posted in different departments for one year. A monthly stipend is given for this. For the state quota students, a 2 year bond is also there in which the students have to give rural service in different areas in which they are posted, after the completion of internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have annual fees of 46000 which is cost effective and affordable. Scholarships are given based on annual family income and caste. If the annual family income is less than 1 lakh then the annual fees are refunded in the form of a scholarship. I haven't seen any other financial assistance or job opportunities while studying. After the 4th year, we have an internship of one year in which we get a monthly stipend of 12000, which is really less as the no. of work hours is too much.

Campus Life

2.5

Impetus is the annual fest conducted here. It is conducted every year in the month of October or November. In the fest, there are different literary events, fine arts events, sports and cultural activities. Books and journals are available in the library with the help of a library card. But the books and journals are not updated frequently, so there are many older versions of the book in the library so students don't prefer the library books quite often. Sports and extracurricular activities are limited on campus. The campus size is small so the playground size is not enough for outdoor sports activities. We have an indoor hall which is sufficient for a few sports activities. Our auditorium is quite large and has good faculties for cultural activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything. There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.
