Remarks

A student with 75% and more gets admission here. Application forms are available online and offline also. CSE seats fill very fast. So, grab the seats at the earliest. Seats should be increased so that desired students can get admission to their desired courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are conducted every 2 months. In one semester there are 2 MSTs and a final exam. Papers are easy if a student is consistent and regular in normal classes. He/she can score good marks. MST is 24 marks and the final is 60 marks.

Companies visiting our college are amazon, google, Wipro, Flipkart, byjus, etc. Both tech and non-tech companies come here. They get a good stipend. Every student gets projects to decorate their resume means after completing the projects.

Placement Experience

Semesters of 6th and onwards become eligible for campus placements. There are good companies visiting our college like google, amazon, Wipro, cognizant, and many more. The highest package is 45 lakh and the average package is 6 lakh. Most students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student who scored more than 90% in their 12th standard gets scholarships. There is another scholarship also. Students can also apply for financial loans for valid reasons. There are other jobs for students who can apply for part-time.

Campus Life

Parivartan is the biggest fest of our college. There are many fests that are conducted in our college like tech fest, youth fest, youth ziesta, and many more. There are many sports which are played in our college like football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess, etc. There are many clubs for sports and curricular activities.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies
