Remarks

I got admission through leet paper and their cut-off is 18 I got 28 so I have been admitted easily. And here admission process is so much smoother. The application form Is uploaded on the institute website. I think no changes is necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very good. Faculty members are very supportive and helpful. They help every student and clear the doubts of students. Professors are having a Ph.D. from recognized universities and they are well qualified.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are given by various companies in the last semester of the course. The company selected on a merit basis like written tests, interviews, and group discussions. The companies that come for internships are chemical, nestle, etc.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is also good on the campus. The company visited in my branch which is food engineering and technology are nestled, with PepsiCo, chemical, and many recognized companies. Almost students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is very nominal compared to other colleges. The semester fee for the bachelor of engineering program is 34000 per semester. There is also a scholarship and financial aid facility available for needy students.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very good. The campus is 450 acres and full of greenery and natural life. There is also a mini zoo present on the campus in which we have rabbits, hens, swans, and other animals. There are also various clubs functioning on campus.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
