Remarks

In my time, admission was based on merit first, you have you register yourself on the original website of Delhi university and then fill up for admission then according to your marks you get college from the cut-off list and so you can select your favourable course. everything is connected with email so this is a good point. The process is really easy to execute. every time you step forward your profile gets updated on the website cut off generally comes for different categories so that is easy...for improvement, I would suggest that during cut off..lots of fake cuts off also release which makes confusion among students and restricted them to choose..so the original cutoff should have some remark to identify from fake ones

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I always had a keen interest in mathematics and want to pursue it further as well also I would add that I was good at mathematics, further it is an easy and valuable course for companies The teacher and student ratio are good as well. All the faculty members have great knowledge about the subject and are regular in classes, they are strict and very keen to teach. Exams are taken frequently to keep up the pace apart from this every class contains a presentation where each child had to come to the board to solve and explain questions given by teachers. we are divided into three categories as well that is slow, medium, advanced learners so that teachers can focus on slow learners more and give much harder questions as an option to advance learners.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As our college provides different opportunities to express ourselves in different formats by sharing many internship opportunities and they try to be in touch with every Student and tell them to go forward and be a learner like this and motivates us to be a part of any internship and gain experience.

Placement Experience

3

Big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Amazon, and Samsung provide job opportunities here giving a decent CTC to students applying. Projects are given to students to enhance their resume and try to bag the best job they can get..also it gives a personality for interview. the average package is like 5.24 lakh and almost 50-60 percent of students sit for placement but few do get into...my plans for the future are to keep carrying my studies for my masters

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for the maths department is 22k - 25k (approx). Scholarships programs can be availed by students who are extraordinary in studies or belong to particular states (different for different scholarships).there are many kinds of scholarships The college has a placement cell providing jobs to students. the university of Delhi is really good for studies and affordable and good one of the companies which come for placement

Campus Life

4

The campus is not big..but life is really good. Du gives you to enjoy life as a student. The library is too small and doesn't have different varieties of books that u can read but you can easily issue books Each student is asked to take part in sports, NCC, or NSS in their compulsory graduation. If the requirement Is not fulfilled they might not even get their degree. also we have clubs and societies..which is also mandatory to have at least one to continue your passion and be alive for other curriculum activities

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
