Best College for Hotel Management!!

IHM Mumbai is one of the best hotel management colleges in India. It is the oldest and most prestigious institute in India. Fully satisfied with the teaching staff. The infrastructure is good and college management is really good. Huge library with so many useful books. To get admission to the institute one has to write an entrance exam called NCHMCT JEE. You have to get a really good rank to get your seat in the college. The college does provide good placement opportunities to the students every year.

I chose this course because I wanted to explore the hotel industry. The faculty is very supportive and very educated. They all were working in good 5-star hotels, the faculty-student ratio is 30:70. Term exams were semester-wise and there was an internal assessment that helps students in knowing the pattern of semester exams. And the internal assessment marks were added to the semester. So if you didn't perform well in the semester assessment marks can save you. It's not that difficult to pass you can go through the past year's papers and study.

During IT the companies that were there were Hyatt, ITC, Novotel, lemontree, etc., and many other hotels. They do not provide a very high stipend but provide nearly 2000 INR and this College is very good in place of placement and IT.

Third-year students are only eligible for campus placements and the companies that generally visit there are pantaloons, ITC, Taj, etc. The maximum package for the student was 4 lakhs INR and more than 80% of students got placements.

Fees are 3,84,000 for the course. Accommodation could cost you around 1 lakh Nchm JEE is the exam to go to this college. I am doing training now and in my 2nd year and will get a job in my 3rd year. You don't have to pay all the fees together it is according to the semester wise. The hostel fees from the 2nd year depend on your marks and what kind of room you want.

There are many competitions and functions. The famous is concoupia. The poem wiring competition, freshers, and All the Hindu festivals take place from Holi to Diwali. Not only Hindu Christmas also gets celebrated. Amenities are not only boards and books we also study through PPTs and online material, Sports like cricket kabaddi takes place.
