Remarks

There are first-come criteria for admission. You can find the application form on the official site of cgc. Yes, there are some scholarships for different states students like Bihar, Jammu,, and Kashmir, etc. Yes there should be some criteria for admission as college is providing good placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose a bachelor of technology in information technology because it is a good way to get involved in the field of technology and the coding era. There are experienced faculty in cec but new in college. There are 2 msts and 1 external exam and is moderately difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 362000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are several companies that provide good internships with good experience and also with good money like amazon provides internships for 2 months at 92 thousand rupees and other MNCs like Microsoft.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year itself, students get eligible for campus placements..and they have several opportunities as so many companies arrive at cgc for placements this year the highest package was 45 LPA and 11 students got placed for the same in amazon.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is fewer fees as compared to the fee structure of cu and both the colleges provide the placements at the same levels the fee in cgc is half the fee of cu so it is affordable for middle-class people.

Campus Life

There are so many groups clubs and websites which are run by students like clubs are champion clubs for sports..virasat for dance, singing and all pixel is for photography and tech amigos are for tech learners.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

I chose Chandigarh Engineering College Laundry over the other due to its strong placement record affordable structure and good industry connections first up I applied to Chitkara University and Lovely Professional University but found C see more cost effective with a well structured curriculum.
