Remarks

One needs to give NEET to get admission into the college which details are available on the website of NTA. State colleges have 85% seats for state quota and 15%AIQ. The admission process is okay but it is a little complicated because of the various rounds of counseling and college going on at the same time which could be simplified

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always wanted to be a doctor so that I could cure people and help them to get rid of various diseases. The faculty: student ratio is approx 1:4 The faculty are highly qualified with MBBS, MD, MS, DM, March, and various other degrees done by them. The teaching process includes lectures in the classroom with the help of smart slides. Almost every month there are exams but there are internals every 3 months and finally the finals. Medical study is one of the toughest courses to pass as we need to know about a lot of different things all at once

Internships Opportunities

3

After completing the final year exams .i.e.after 4.5 yrs of study, all the students have to go through a period of 1 year of a stipend in the hospital followed by 1 year of rural posting during which period every student is given a stipend of around 35000 rupees monthly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a govt. college the fees is less comparatively around 10000 rupees yearly excluding the various books and study items that we need to buy which costs around 20000 rupees. The internship period also provides one with a monthly stipend of around 30000-35000 rupees.

Campus Life

2

The annual fest is good with lots of activities done. The library has a large collection of various books by different writers related to the medical field. The classrooms are air-conditioned and have a projector Outdoor sports are not possible as the college has no playground but indoor games like chess, carrom, badminton, TT, etc are played at times in the hostels. The college has a singing club, a dancing club, and a drama club.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is not at all easy like all the other courses but since this course deals with life and death situations I would say the practical applications introduction has lead to a better side of this course. This course is completedly real world based curriculum. The faculty members are well equipped to everything they teach and the methods currently focus on application based studies. This course has many exams each month and therefore the student has to study properly.
