For pursuing this course one should have PCB in class12th. In my time admission was based on a percentage of the top three subjects(PCB). But after the year 2021 admission is based on the entrance. You can visit the Du website and easily can get an admission link registration and can proceed with the further process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in the biotech field and both life science and biotechnology are correlated to each other also I'm getting Hansraj college so I decided not to lose this opportunity. Each batch of the student is around 70-80. The teachers are very good. Question paper is not tough you just have to prepare well.
Internships Opportunities
Like a placement cell, another cell is there for an internship. Many internships will be available for you and you can choose anyone of them. You will also be provided a stipend for internship+ extra money based on your work.
Placement Experience
One cell is there for placement. The process of placement starts just after semester 5 starting onwards. Different tiers of companies will visit and you have to go through many steps in the selection process. The average placement salary is about 5Lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
As compared to other colleges Hansraj charges much more money both in academic fees as well as hostel fees. It's not a 100% government institution. Only Government Scholarships are applicable. Despite the high course fees, you can apply for fee concession every year where you can get upto70% refund on college fees.
Campus Life
Every year college conduct fest. The departmental fest also happens from time to time. The library is somewhat large and divided based on the stream one common space is there where you can read newspapers and journals. majorly all kind of Sports equipment is available you can take any and have fun in the big playground.
