Jee paper 2 and nata are two main entrance exams to get into b.arch in nitc. 12th grade is eligible for it. Applications are found on the official JEE and NATA websites. Reservation in many category is present (sc/st/low income- bc, oc/ews/ladies e.t.c).

A truly good option for passionate students with an interest in architecture. Can be the second option for students who want to study in nit. Department consists of 15 members permanent faculties who with phd and more than 10 adhoc who completed their master's and few facilities who come from another dept of b.tech branches to teachers specialised subjects. Mid sem and end sem are two main examinations which carry 80% of marks on the whole and are difficult to score high. But attending classes give a minimum knowledge that is required to pass the subjects.

B.arch students usually have a variety of internship opportunities. Famous firms are least preferred when in terms of the intern as a small project from small firms can give a lot of scopes to learn. Every student compulsorily gets intern as it is a part of the academic requirements to get the degree

As I am a student with reservation I feel okay with the fee that I pay which is around 10000 per year and it is 120000 for students without any reservation. Stage scholarships, E grants and other scholarships are helping many students.

More than 12 clubs, with the south india's largest technical and cultural fests, TATHVA and RAGAM get conducted every year. it is a lot of fun and knowledge combined place with a lot of freedom to choose and do things that he or she likes. The campus has a huge library and a digital library which is open almost 18 hrs a day. 2 volleyball, tennis, kabaddi, a kho kho courts and an indoor badminton court are present along with 3 large cricket and football ground.

Hostel rooms have access to fresh water, and good sanitation facilities, with campus wifi available. Some facilities are not available in the newly established mega hostel. Daily campus buses to reach the department from hostel are helpful. Laundry service is just enough. 8 different hostels with 8 mess service variety of food menu. One can register in any mess and get service for that whole month. The campus also has its own health care centre with easy access to ambulances is also found and is totally free for students and staff.
