Eligibility is the 12th pass. The admission is undertaken by an entrance exam. It can be through WBJEE or JEE MAINS rank. The reservation is meant only for that specific state's students. The improvement in admission is that the refundable security deposit must not be taken. And if taken, it must be refunded within a specific time after leaving the college. Haven't received those refund amounts yet.

I chose computer science and engineering because of my interest in this stream. I loved coding and learning new technology-related skills. There are several departments and each department has around 20 members. The teachers are quite friendly and helpful. The exam used to be conducted on time. We had 2-3 unit tests each semester and 2-semester exams for each year.

Placement starts at the end of the third year itself. There are many companies who visited for on-campus placement - Wipro, Infosys, McAfee, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, ITC, L & T, Mindtree and many more. The highest package was 12 lakh/ annum. The average package is around 4 lakhs/annum. Around >80% of students were placed.

Fees are neither too high nor too low. It's average as to other engineering colleges. The extra fees inclusive in the name of training and other activities must be excluded as it is of not much use. There are fee waiver options to assist students financially.

The infrastructure of the college is average. There are no sports facilities. Nor they do have their own auditorium. There is a seminar hall where important events take place. There are many fests held- tech as well as cultural. The most famous tech fest is paridhi. Many Books related to engineering are available, but regarding other government sectors or public service examinations, they don't have any. Related to the Gate exam as well they do have a few books.
