Remarks

I got admission to Amal Jyothi college of engineering by merit seat. I took the entrance exam in 2015 and I got a 13000. The total fee is a little high. The application details are the same as the Kerala engineering applications. For more inquiries, you have to visit the official site or contact the authorities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good. Not more or not less. Easy to study. Good faculties are there. I love civil engineering courses because I want to make human life easier. The faculty's teaching method is also good.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have done an internship outside the campus in Kottayam. It is a construction site. The college conducted several internships inside and outside the campus. We did our main project last year about environmental engineering.

Placement Experience

The college has a placement cell and many students are got placed. In the civil department, the placement is comparably low. In civil engineering, the percentage of students who get placed is below 25. I want to my MTech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little high. There is a caution deposit there on the admission time which is about 1 lakhs. Scholarships are available for students. Financial assistance is there if you want. The campus jobs are comparably less for the civil department.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is so good. The library has a wide range of books and easy access to all of the books. College life is good. Good friends, good faculty, good infrastructure, good campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is near College. The quality of the hostel rooms are nice. In one room there is 3 beds. The room consists of bed, bucket, table, foam, etc. Some rooms have veranda. The meals in hostel mess is good

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP.
