Remarks

I wanted to pursue my studies for a Master of Science in Chemistry subject. Then I came to know about a college named Guru Ghasidas university through my friend. He said it is a good central university. So I applied for an application form for admission to college. As it is a central university I have its own entrance test named CET(common entrance test). It was an online proctored exam. I score 52 marks out of 100. My rank was 39. As I am an sc student yet I got a good rank so I easily got admission on it. All admission procedures were scheduled online including document uploading and payment. In this way, I got admission to Guru ghasidas university.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I have done bachelor's degree in Science. And I like chemistry very much so I decided to do a master's of Science in Chemistry as a Subject. There is about a 12:60 student: faculty ratio. All of the faculty are very experienced and also have done a lot of research work. Most of the faculty have done their PhD. There are 2 internal examinations CT-1 and CT-2 in between one semester. There is a total of 4 semesters for my M.Sc. Course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As there is availability for PhD student. You can do research work under experienced faculty. You can also get a fellowship of about 33-35000 per month. To admit to PhD course you have to clear the VET exam along with the GATE score.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission, I had paid an admission fee of about 5900 rs. As I come from a capable family so I don't want any scholarship. But students from weaker families can have scholarships based on state or central schemes.

Campus Life

There are many annual fests organised in my college. As I am in 1 semester so I don't know anything about that. Ggu has a very big Central library on campus in which you can access many books and scientific journals for free. There are a lot of books from different streams, monthly magazines and different language newspapers. Classes are well furnished with good quality benches, a semi-smart room, a smart room and an auditorium in my chemistry department. There is a social club named Brotherhood club which helps the newly admitted student.

Collages offered placement but I can't join any type of placement. They trained all students for their placement i.e. they perform good in his interview and they got selected. Every year many students selected in different different branches and their poster are shown in campus .

Forensic science department review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has 4 semesters and is divided as follows.. 1st semester has 5 theory and 2 practical (general introduction to forensic science and ciriminology , crime scene management, instrumental analysis in forensic science, forensic biology, and serology ) 2nd sem also has 5 theory subjects and 2 practicals. Meanwhile syllabus for 3rd and 4th semester has not been provided. The teaching method is traditional chalk and talk . The semester has 2 CTS and finals at the end of 6 months .

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. There are many placement drives happening in college each month. As there are engineering departments here so there are no lack of placement drives. I have plan to clear UGC net exam to get into lectureship.

Remarks:

It is a very good university in Chhattisgarh. As it is a central university, so there are many facilities like a university bus, an International conference, etc. Teachers are very helpful. The University campus is also very good.

It's Location since it is located in Bilaspur and High court of Chhattisgarh is itself located here so internship and legal experience will be maximized.
