Remarks

I had written keam entrance exam and I have got a rank of 28k and I have achieved a good score in my 12th standard i.e. 87% so I have easily get admission in the college in the 1st chance there was cut off of 10 marks for the entrance exam. I have got the merit seat of admission so my fee was 35000 per year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a very very craze about vehicles and was curious to know about the working of vehicles and all so I choose mechanical engineering course. The faculty members in this college are very friendly and they were too helpful and supportive also. Highly qualified faculties are there teaching that has MTech and Ph.D. also. Exams were normal if we studied in a good manner we can easily achieve the pass mark.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester itself, we will be able to attend campus placements a variety of companies are approaching our college and our faculty in charge helps us a lot to reach a good carrier. There were different packages provided by the companies a minimum of 350000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have got the merit seat so my fees were 35000 per year and there is a management seat also 65000 and an NRI seat cost 115000. There are different scholarships available for different people according to their eligibility criteria, and reservation criteria from the government.

Campus Life

Campus life Is very happy and there is much freedom there we can enjoy every little moment and have a good time there with my friends and faculties. There are sports encouraged by faculties and students and there were a lot of programs conducted also. There was a big library with different books.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

The admission process began with myself being ranked at 20k in the KEAM examination where i was alloted to college of engineering and management, punnapra on a merit seat. The cut off was approximately 25-27k for computer science engineering.Prior to that,in the first allotment i was alloted to college of engineering kottarakkara, Kollam.
