Likes

Okayish infrastructure and overall ambience looks pleasing to some okayish to some but no one would call it bad
Teachers are good who actually teach unlike many other campuses(so called good ones)
Freedom! As its Under cape its very much like a govt college its not too strict like many other pvt colleges but beware freedom is always a double edged sword you may need some time ane to learn wielding it

Dislikes

Campus is just minimal...there just a single ground and an indoor badminton court, a couple of nets thats it
As its relatively a new college clubs and such technical groups are not well established not a bad thing in way an opportunity for an adventure of building them from sctatch
Politics is there not so intense but yea strikes once or twice a sem is a common phonomena, no party fights so its cool, who doesnt love those pleasant holiday surprises

Placements are there and the average salary was around 20 k per month Its not that there aint good placements companies offering 6 -8 lpa do come for the cse dept its just the students arent able to clear their preliminary exams...so its more of a student problem..if you are passionate abt your future and ready to work hard you would be placed

My College: College Of Engineering And Management Punnapra

Likes

The Infrastructure: The college is having a good infrastructure
KTU: The college is following the KTU syllabus and scheme
Freedom: We are having enough freedom in the campus

Dislikes

The facilities are not that much great as expected
The classes could me made smart but it's not done so
Some faculties are not that responsible.

Placement Experience:

Detailing about the Placements, we have a good no. of studets getting placed in many MNCs and startups. The practice of taking internships are also promoted and if you are having some internships lasting longer then we could get a break for 1 year and continue out gradution from where we have stopped. A high package is not to be expected but its good.

Placement Experience:

Compnies starts hiring process in the final year. Many technical and non technical companies will come to the campus.I my year companies like UST global , Aarbees etc had come to the college. Around 50% were placed in my year.

College of Engineering and Management Punnapra - A 2024 Hosteller Review.

Likes

Student Activities conducted by students itself including Onam Celebration etc.
Hostel Facilities and Memories were awesome.

Dislikes

No Ground for Football, Only Cricket net is present. Supports All other sports than Football.
No Help in building necessary skills for Jobs and Future, If someone wants to study, They have to do it themselves.
Teachers are not qualified for the levels.

Placement Experience:

Students are availed to Placements in Last Year or seventh Semester. There are not much Companies visited and most of the students are not skilled. Most Students go for additional skill development courses after college and seek jobs.

My honest review about my college

Likes

Faculties are not much strict. They are friendly.
Infrastructure is very cool. There is not much area, but the garden area etc. is so attractive
Many shops, ATM, auto-taxis etc.are easily available.

Dislikes

Programs, fests are very rare in this college. That's it.
Free periods are very less. No free time for students.
Washroom area is a bit pathetic. Need to improve it.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered by the college. Skilled ones can crack it. So the thing is, you have to practise from the first year Or second year itself to get a good placament. More placement offers are for computer science students.

Likes

Campus life are good and i enjoyed it very well
I got many friend in this college and many memories
College's infrastructure and beauty are good according to me

Dislikes

Some of the faculty are poor in teaching
The course and the syllabus is little bit tough for me
They have to invite good companies for placement and offers a good salary package

Placement Experience:

From 7 th sem onwards we can attend placement drives Tcs, Infosys, experion, accenture, wipro and so on and they provide good number of offers Highest salary package is between 40000-50000 i guess 10 -20% My plans are, i want to join in the army or navy

College life, vibes and friends especially.
The experienced and lovely faculty of the college.

Dislikes

I actually doesnt have much things to dislike on the college but for some formality i would say the security guards sometimes do closes the gates disallowing outside vehicles to enter.

Placement Experience:

Students of s7 will be eligible for campus placements. The college provides placement drives for every eligible students of all the branches. The companies offers salary packages starting from 2.5LPA. The cse students are more likely to be placed due to their availability and more companies offer. More than 50%students gets placed every year. I would like to work as a python developer after obtaining the degree along with pursuing an M.TECH.

From the sixth semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are recruiting students from our college every year. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the average package offered is 7 LPA. Almost every student who graduated is getting placed in the above-mentioned companies.
