Likes

Okayish infrastructure and overall ambience looks pleasing to some okayish to some but no one would call it bad
Teachers are good who actually teach unlike many other campuses(so called good ones)
Freedom! As its Under cape its very much like a govt college its not too strict like many other pvt colleges but beware freedom is always a double edged sword you may need some time ane to learn wielding it

Dislikes

Campus is just minimal...there just a single ground and an indoor badminton court, a couple of nets thats it
As its relatively a new college clubs and such technical groups are not well established not a bad thing in way an opportunity for an adventure of building them from sctatch
Politics is there not so intense but yea strikes once or twice a sem is a common phonomena, no party fights so its cool, who doesnt love those pleasant holiday surprises

My rank wasnt great, ie around 25k so this was the cheapest and best college i could get in for cse.after govt and ihrd colleges this is the best one..good campus, good teachers, okayish placements, As the syllabus is the same for almost all colleges of kerala so this wasn't a bad bet either...

Likes

The Infrastructure: The college is having a good infrastructure
KTU: The college is following the KTU syllabus and scheme
Freedom: We are having enough freedom in the campus

Dislikes

The facilities are not that much great as expected
The classes could me made smart but it's not done so
Some faculties are not that responsible.

Admission:

Detailing about the admission process, I took admission through the KEAM Entrance Exam, and after alloting to the college I visited the college on a day allotted to take the admission. We reported at the college at around 9'o clock. It was completely smooth and we finished the admission procedures before noon.

Admission:

There are two types of admission one is based on the KEAM exam for getting the state quota seats and the other one is the management seats. 50% seats are alloted for the state merit and balance dor the management seats

College of Engineering and Management Punnapra - A 2024 Hosteller Review.

Likes

Student Activities conducted by students itself including Onam Celebration etc.
Hostel Facilities and Memories were awesome.

Dislikes

No Ground for Football, Only Cricket net is present. Supports All other sports than Football.
No Help in building necessary skills for Jobs and Future, If someone wants to study, They have to do it themselves.
Teachers are not qualified for the levels.

Admission:

For Merit Seat, You have to pass KEAM examination. The Cutoff mark is 10 marks and based on Rank list, students get into various colleges that they apply. KEAM exam is conducted once in every year after 12th Board exams. The one thing I don't like was Caste reservations for Admission.

My honest review about my college

Likes

Faculties are not much strict. They are friendly.
Infrastructure is very cool. There is not much area, but the garden area etc. is so attractive
Many shops, ATM, auto-taxis etc.are easily available.

Dislikes

Programs, fests are very rare in this college. That's it.
Free periods are very less. No free time for students.
Washroom area is a bit pathetic. Need to improve it.

Admission:

Its an average college. Since it is a government controlled self-financing college, not much strict and also not much liberal. Anyway if you have a mind to study, you can. Placements are also offered. Skilled ones can crack it.

Likes

Campus life are good and i enjoyed it very well
I got many friend in this college and many memories
College's infrastructure and beauty are good according to me

Dislikes

Some of the faculty are poor in teaching
The course and the syllabus is little bit tough for me
They have to invite good companies for placement and offers a good salary package

Eligibility of the course is we have to write the entrance exam like keam or other wise nri seat are available for those who don't wrote the entrance Details of application are provided in the college site

College life, vibes and friends especially.
The experienced and lovely faculty of the college.

Dislikes

I actually doesnt have much things to dislike on the college but for some formality i would say the security guards sometimes do closes the gates disallowing outside vehicles to enter.

Admission:

The admission process began with myself being ranked at 20k in the KEAM examination where i was alloted to college of engineering and management, punnapra on a merit seat. The cut off was approximately 25-27k for computer science engineering.Prior to that,in the first allotment i was alloted to college of engineering kottarakkara, Kollam. I visited the college premises to discuss the admission processes but due to some hostel facility issues we were drawn back from the decision to join the college. Soon after that, in the second allotment i was alloted to CEMP(COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT, PUNNAPRA)

I wrote the entrance exam and qualified for each subject with minimum marks Rank list is published and then the allotment process is done then I got selected. Eligibility of the course is candidates should have passed each subject in entrance exams.

Admission:

I had written keam entrance exam and I have got a rank of 28k and I have achieved a good score in my 12th standard i.e. 87% so I have easily get admission in the college in the 1st chance there was cut off of 10 marks for the entrance exam. I have got the merit seat of admission so my fee was 35000 per year.
