Remarks

You must secure at least 45 percent in physics, chemistry, and mathematics to be eligible for the course. You must secure a good rank in the KEAM Entrance examination to get a merit seat. SC/ST category students get an extra fee waiver.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to improve my knowledge in the IT field and to upgrade my skills in the IT field. Highly qualified faculty are taking the classes. Both Online and offline teaching methods are followed. It is quite difficult to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro are giving internships to our college students and providing them with fair stipends. Students are getting the chance to work with skilled professionals in their respective fields under the same pressure.

Placement Experience

From the sixth semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are recruiting students from our college every year. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the average package offered is 7 LPA. Almost every student who graduated is getting placed in the above-mentioned companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

It cost around 44000 rupees per year. Tuition fees, Library fees, sports fees, and other fees are included in this fee structure. SC/ST category students have to pay almost nothing as fees and get scholarships every year. All government scholarships are available here

Campus Life

All Cultural festivals are celebrated here. Artfest and Tech fest are also celebrated here. Almost all books are available in the air-conditioned library. Smart classrooms are available here. Sports fest is conducted every semester.NSS Group is actively running in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Good rooms are provided by the hostel with hygienic toilets. A bed and a locker are available in every room. Almost every basic electric appliance is there in the room. Good quality meals with good quantity are available. Every student and faculty are eligible for hostel registration.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

I do not know which companies visit as i have only joined this year but as what i know from the seniors the companies are looking for students with skills over marks. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Delving deep into the divinity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

From S6 onwards students will be able to sit in placements drive. In my college the placement is just OK. Many companies visited and above 100 offers were made. Highest package was of 14 Lakh per annum, average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum. Students placed are above 50% in CS and IT department. I plan for both work and higher studies

I have a crazy about computers,codes and many more that's why I like more computer related course and some good coding skills are necessary if you plan to move along the course.the time period of exam are very short if an exam pass by and next exam would be happening the coming 2nd week it's very hard to improve in that short period

I applied for most of the government and government aided self financing colleges with my keam rank & got my seat at College of Engineering and Management, Punnapra.I opted this college because fees is very low here.. Almost Half compared to private colleges. The minimum age is 17 and there is no minimum mark..If you end up in top 40,000 in KEAM rank,you are eligible to apply.You can opt for NRI seat if you have completed your higher secondary education/if you have studied polytechnic you can skip 1st year and join 2nd year directly through the Lateral entry test. Once you got allotted through KEAM website you have to confirm your seat by visiting the college and paying the admission fee along with your required documents such as mark list, birth certificate etc. The college provide 2 day counciling for freshers.The whole freshers is divided into two groups and are given seperate orientation calsses...Read More
