Computer Science and Engineering

Overall the college is good. But should be improve in terms of sports matters. It has good academic structure. Fee structure is also feasible. The seniors are good. The faculties are good. After all, the friends that we made a lot of memories with are got from this college.

The course curriculum is pretty good. It improves a lot from previous University. We are studying under new University introduced in 2015. The exam structure is also good and makes effective analysis of the study.

Many companies are offering placements in our college. A placement cell is there in the college to facilitates the placement and job opportunities of students. More companies are yet to come in the last semester. Recently companies like TCS provide a placement drive and 3 friends of mine gets in there.

There are many events celebrated in our college. It includes tech fest, arts day, sports day, union day, etc. A good level of participation is held in these fests from both inside and outside the college. We students also participate in the fests of other colleges.

The fee structure is feasible. Even it is greater than Govt. colleges but it lot more lesser than private colleges. We have to pay an amount of 35000 for the Govt. fee and additional college fee includes bus, PTA fund, etc. So we have to pay around 45000 as fees for one year.

In first year I got a scholarship of PMSS in favour of the category of the children of Ex-serviceman. But later in the succeeding years due to the arrears I'm failed to avail the scholarship. There is also educational loans provided for the course.

The labs in our college is good working condition. Even students from other colleges come to avail the lab facilities in our college. But in the sports area, it is not so good. We don't have a good playground. The sports day is celebrated in another ground near the college. We've a ground. But it not large enough and not in workin condition. There no politics played in the sports or any other activities.

I'm not opted for the hostel. I'm a day scholar. But I think hostel life is pretty awesome. In many occasions I stayed in the hostel for 2,3 days. It's for programmes to be held in the college. That hostel experiences was awesome. We enjoyed a lot. Hostel life is good except the case of food.

The seniors in our college is friendly. There is no ragging faced in our first year. We have a healthy relationship with our seniors. In case of events or celebrations we work hand in hand with our seniors.

I'm only opt for computer science stream. So I put cs option in various colleges. Since my entrance score is not so good enough to get admission in Govt. colleges, I get admission in this Govt. Self Financing college.

The faculties are much qualified. But many of them are too boring. We refer their words and study on our own for most subjects. Also there are some teachers we are too interested to attend classes. We also opt to attend the boring classes since attendence is an important factor in the exam registration.
