You can get admission through jee mains and advance. The process of admission is all mentioned on the jossa website or can check on the college Dunia website. For jee, exam fees for general students were 650 and for girls & reservation was 325. For jee advance, general student fees were 2800 and for girls & reservation student was 1400. The admission process is the good only result and admits cards are sometimes released so late.

I opted for IT and ECE but because of cut off I got ECE, it was also a good branch my main reason to choose this branch was that I can also go for government jobs. The faculty and student ratio is good. All are experienced, PhD teachers. Teachers are also very helpful to each student. The teaching method is also good u can easily understand concepts. Due to the corona semester ending in 3 months, after one month of mid-term then during the end of the 3rd-month final exam is conducted.

Internships are the most important aspect of life for engineering students. Internships are provided by college also but mostly they are not paid if you are middle class you will always try to find an internship that will give a good payment. So, you can go for an off-campus internship. But paid learning is not good. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Samsung etc. Provide an on-campus internship that will give you immense learning and experience.

Placement is good from 2020 it is increasing year by year in 2022 we have the highest package 42 lakhs per anum from cse branch and an average of 8.5 lakh per anum and lowest package of 3-4 lakh per anum. Placement is offered from companies like Google, Microsoft, Bhel etc. College is getting better day by day if we talk about the place. You can also pursue higher studies like Mtech or any other degree. Or UPSC &IES exam etc.

Fess structure : 146000/yr tution fee, 12000 security deposit, 6500 one-time registration (non-refundable) , it is for general. For Sc/St and income below 100000 has a 100% tuition fee waiver. And for income 1- 5 lakh income, they only have to submit 1/3 rd of tuition fee. Hostel and mess fee is the same for all it was 8000 and 21000 per semester respectively. Price hikes may see every year. Scholarships are also provided by the college, you can apply by nsp portal then it will verify by the college and you may avaio a scholarship. It may vary on which scholarship you opt for. You can also avail state scholarship. In college, there was relaxation to pay fees, and much time is given to students to pay fees both online or offline as per their needs. Overall, the fee structure is good and reliable and affordable.

Nit Srinagar is also known for its beautiful campus. But life is not as easy as it is seen. You need to study very very hard to get a good cgpa and placement. The annual fest is also conducted but due to corona fest is not conducted. Hoping, It will be soon conducted. Every sport is played here ( cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton etc.). Also, many competition is conducted for the same. Other than this there are many clubs in college( coding club, singing, dancing and many more ). Many events are conducted by students only and you can learn from these events.

Hostel facility is available in college by 8000/per semester or 16000 / year. The rooms are good and highly ventilated and warm also. During winter rooms are warm but you need to buy blankets ( cambal , rajai). The capacity of rooms depends on the students it can be 4,5,6. Now it is 5. Here there are 10 hostels in which 2 are girls and 8 are boys hostel. Boys get a different hostel each year. Each hostel has its separate mess. Food is not so good and not so bad. They have a special menu during weekends and festivals.

Admission to this college is through jee mains only. You have to give jee mains and on the basis of your rank, you will be able to avail this college. After getting a good rank you can apply for counselling and get your opted branch( based on your rank). The process of reporting earlier was in online mode but now it will be in offline mode, you have to come here and do very your documents, and then your admission process will be completed.
